I haven't heard anything about in game currency, and I don't expect it to change. But I don't know.
I do know the only change I have heard about is Microsoft points are done and being converted to local currency.
The in game storefront/sell your paint thing is radically shifting. I'm not sure how you present your paint, I assume there's still a storefront, BUT you share it now, locked but shared, no selling cost, and you then get paid by how often your paint is used on the track, kinda like lap money I guess? How much, or how you're gonna find that painter, or that specific "Iron Man" mustang, I dunno yet. I'm told the Auction house is gone though. Which I rarely used, but honestly I did make some good money off it a year ago selling Sagaris painted cars. Buy onemid week for 8k, apply paint and sell it for 175k or so, open auction on the weekend. Adds up quick.
And I'm assuming (hugely) that the tuners are going to be using the same system to earn ingame credits as the painters, lap money if you run their tune. But I guess I won't know until I fire it up.
Kinda uneasy as it's been a great way to earn in game cash for me as a painter in Forza4 and now it's a reshuffle the deck situation. But then again, I'm always 100 mill credits ahead of what I need, just wonder if it'll be like that in 5. Not too worried though, becdause early in a game, if a good painters strapped for cash, the guys will donate a car or cash so it can get painted. We take pretty good care of each other.

Car Tokens. A starting balance of 1,250 Car Tokens allow instant access to any car in the game ($10 value
I thought maybe they changed the in game purchasing format.
X1 for me....buying Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, BF4, Zoo Tycoon & Minecraft.
PS4+killzone...and some other shit but Killzone is what it's all about really.
