With absolute minimal tuning and only a few laps (Silv-Nat) each car I could get the Vauxhall Insignia within half a second of the Leon Cupra and the Vauxhall felt pretty good. The Megane was about one second slower and drove terribly and I couldn't figure out how to convert the Cupras - drivetrain swap wasn't available to me. I'm sure with a tune and the right car/build a RWD car can be competitive but at this point in time Parcells is heavily leaning to just accept a FWD car. Part of my reasoning is I think a FWD car can handle these quick BTCC style sprint races perhaps a little bit easier than RWD.

Can you fire me the Vauxhall tune. I'd like to try it.

Going to play with rwd audis and the BMW.
Will send the Vauxhall tonight.
Parcells had a bad experience early on in FM with a BMW and haven't been fond of them ever since and pretty much the same with Audi's but I'm betting they'll both be pretty damn competitive. Best of luck, Parcells is looking forward to some good battles with the Poids!
I finished my paint, and tunes for Silverstone, Rd Atlanta and Sebring today.
I can give an idea of the performance of other cars on Silverstone and Rd Atlanta, I fare pretty well on both tracks and have a good idea what this car is capable of on both.
Anyone with a FWD car/build/tune that they think is competitive I would love to try it. FWD isn't my thing but there isn't anything wrong with being open minded.
Oldschool can paint just about anything. Would be awesome if he made you a "Kramerica Industries" logo and if there could be a chicken somewhere (or perhaps giant ball of oil - work-out ball) on the car that would really really awesome!
Any fwd wheel user types out there I could send a car to for a quick tune?
Parcells isn't a fwd type (thats an insult right?) but my current BTCC plan is one of 4 fwd cars, one of which is a golf. I can tune one of these bastards quick enough that its mostly manageable to Parcells liking but I'm also not very fussy what I drive but if you want to send it over to Parcells I could return it to you on Sunday on the pretense if I like what you send I may use the exact same car/build amigo.
you're still on-line, if you send it to me tonight I may return it quickly...you got me excited about testing my 4 cars out (haven't driven any yet only built them, you know with those convenient controllers) so I may just hook up some Fanatec wheel and give er a go over some beer, and weed possibly (definitely)

Sent a built and driven golf 10. Changed a few things but remembered testing it for something else with very mixed results. There was some oddity that makes it very twitchy. Even Tournis skills left it just about drivable. Interesting to see the results. It does seem to have real potential.
Also sent the 06. Built but not driven. From memory this drove really well when testing it for something else ages ago.
If neither of these work, I think its the 135.
You'll just need to pop open a few beers and fire up the weed again tonight. Drag
The only Coupe allowed is the BMW 135i
The 1M is a no go
Ah OK. I was wondering.....That thing is pretty darn fast. Audi it is then.
If anyone wants the paint on the BMW above applied to a 135i let me know. Shouldn't be too hard to work out.

Will do fella!
Right now time to look for some cars to ban
As long as it's not the Audi!

All the cars I have built upto now are running about the same. Nothing sticks out yet.
Some cars are obviously faster at one track than others but suffer at the rest etc
Also I have sent my current tunes to Jdrt and the people who asked for them (All RWD)

The 2011 Scirroco R looks to be eligible (hatchback It looks like).
If so it builds to S626 @2705 and 348hp
Despite the PI it didn't seem like it was "all that" but I also don't claim to be good at tuning FWD either.
Having trouble with Sponsors (i have few in my stockpile) any idea of one i can put with this?

Snoop I have a SEAT paint in my paint thread. It's applied to the cup car but I could adapt it to that car.
Cool!
May be my car:

The number plate is on my storefront.
Sweet paint Jdan!
Am I right in saying the VW golfs listed won't convert to rwd?
If so I have my list down to 3. 2 are rwd and those I can tune. The golf I'm interested in would be fwd which I can't tune for shit.
Any fwd wheel user types out there I could send a car to for a quick tune?
@parcells - quite like the insignia but it does not seem quick enough.

If I'm home I'll make it. Hopefully we get some "racey" looking cars for some cool pictures.

Your more than welcome to run with GGGM colors max!
