If anyone is interested the Audi RS3 Sportback makes a unique car that I've managed to build out nicely. Stats are OK too at 5.6 speed, 6.5 handling and 7.8 Accell.
Who can resist the wagon, er estate I mean.
It's at 349HP and 2701lbs. If anyone is interested in the build I can send it over. I haven't tuned it though.
Top 3 was constiantly change at each track. I'm glad I kept at 10% max HC as it really hurts expecially on the longer tracks. This supprised me TBH as I though 10% would not hurt that much due to the 350BHP power.
Your never going to win every race in this event (Like Real Life) as all the cars perform better on some tracks than others.
Almost everyone had a diffrent car (Apart from JDRT drivers) and a few drivers where trying diffrent cars out and they where all about there. There wasnt any cars that jumped out and shot off into the distance.
If your getting about a 1:29 at Silverstone and in Room A your pretty much there.
Room B the times where 1:32 ish
Although the last race at Hock Me, Grim and Daz had best laptimes with in 0.020 secoonds
I decided to test the aforementioned Audi at Silverstone, and was getting 2.22. I thought I was going to have to make up about a minute and then realised I was on the Grand Prix version of Silverstone, not the international track. Phew!

Any advise or tips on upgrades, tuning, etc?
IMO the Audi isn't all that easy to drive.
It can be fast for sure but I've certainly driven cars that were easier to drive.
I am however probably sticking with the Audi. Are you in the american garage? Give the Audi in the club garage a go. It's tuned for Silverstone International.

I'm in the euro garage. But I'm planning on using the BMW 135i anyway. I've lightly tuned one before and it was quite reliable without trying to kill me.
Hey Prebuilt... Are you running the s4 '10? Are you able to gift me your tune so I can compare it to mine? Would be happy to reciprocate, keep in mind though I'm not really that skilled at tuning
Just a hint .... there are a lot of other cars to choose from apart from the Audi and BMW. At this rate its going to be an Audi vs BMW series.
...... And yes before its pointed out, i am in the RS3 lol
I've used the BMW 135i before. It was a solid performer, handled well and the speed was pretty good. I would use the Focus RS — one of my favourites — but it just does't cut it when testing out.
I just need to test out the BMW again and settle on a paint job.

JDRT are also looking for a Room A drive.
Cars are ready!

Also don't forget you can change your car build as much as you like for each track as long as its within the set criteria.
Signed up for room B, will change if needed. I'll be running the '07 Civic type R (FWD S624). 349HP, 2709lbs.
Edit: Moved to room A 1:28.9xx @ Silverstone Int. with room to improve.
@ Snoop, those colors scream Petronas IMO.
Does the 07 civic work well rwd? Have not had time to try that.
So far FWD is coming up the better choice.
Which is a bit of a dilemma for me ;)
Is there a shakedown race today?
If anyone is around I will be on
Good Turn out and got some good replays.
Cheers Lads!
I'd like to join in. Where do I sign up?
The sign up sheet is on page 1 of this topic

@Flugel be sure to have a few people who are in your room on your friends list so you can join the races when they start.
Will do.
Tried out the Audi with RWD. I was all over the place. Might opt for the BMW 135i instead.
