Well I managed to get some time on the game the other day (picked it up for the 360) and automatically came to the conclusion that I'm definitely rusty on the play mechanics (LOL); and I happened to have my mother stay at my place for a few days for a visit (she lives on a island), so she's in another room, and she comes out the living room to see what all the cussing and swearing is all about (LMAO)
Needless to say this isn't a game that any of my nieces or nephews will be touching if they visit their Uncle Garfy; should be interesting when the online component becomes available.
BF3. I picked it up way late and was regularly trounced as I played solo at strange hours. You and Biznass let me run with you guys when I could but life didn't allow me to be consistent.
I wasnt able to do anything last night. It failed at my character creation and I gave up after that and went back to SP. Looks like rain all weekend here so no golf for me. Should be able to get in some MP this weekend.
I have not been able to get onle with GTA as well. I get as close as can be and it does nothing. Currently I am looking at a few ways to get this going.
This includes (if you guys havnt seen it yet)
Deleting the Update and re installing.
Deleting the character.
and several different ways to start the online session from the pause menu.
If I can come up with a usefully precedure, then I will list it here.
Tried a couple times last night and I kept getting stuck on the "waiting for other players" screen during the first race. They just released a patch for the PS3 version, hopefully this fixes the issue.

Ya I DL'ed the Patch this morning and got right in. Then played at lunch and got right in no problem. I think its fixed. Now they need to get to work on the Android app :)

Every one of my attempts immediately generates an error and sends me back to one of the three in the main story. WTF?!
It's a Rockstar server issue. I was able to get on and make my character and that's about it.

I finally got on today during lunch. I didn't delete or reinstall anything. I just hit "x" to start online and it finally started the race for me.
So far it's fun. I've leaned to never turn your back on the clerk you just robbed and cops can spot you in a stolen car unlike the SP game.
