Arrghh...guess I DO have to train up a bit.
Working Salvador through the Bloodshot stronghold, and I keep running into Nomads with shields that shrug off my grenades and eat all my bullets even in Gunzerk mode.
Back to the Dust and a few side missions.
If you arent, run one weapon with slag and the other fire. Then throw fire grenades at the bastards when theyre slagged.

Sometimes you can dance with them to get them to move their shield by getting close enough for a melee and backing off when they swing, or else by blasting them with a shotgun, causing them to stumble back a little. Otherwise, slag and fire are a good way to go. A singularity grenade could help toss them around as well.
