It was good meeting all hte new people came out & it was also great seeing those of you I've seen before. Just wish I hadn't gotten sick. Got some bug going on. Still feeling shitty (literally). Lets hope for better weather next year. For those of you who didn't make it, start planning for next year now. Petit & our crew makes for a most excellent racing experience. For me, it's become less about the racing & more about getting to spend time with some good friends that I only get to see once a year. Cheers to you all.
@ Gator Bob, If you still have it on your phone, send that pic of me with the kilt girls to my e-mail. I tried several times to retrieve it on my phone & it never would download for some reason.
I'll get my pics posted up a little later today. Unfortunately, I didn't shoot much since I felt like shit & the weather was crap.
On a high note, Bob helped me check a box on my bucket list when he let me drive his C6 from the Vettte corral over to our campsite lol.

I'll send it. On another high note, the Tilted Kilt girls needed a ride home (out of the track to their car) Saturday pm . . . wish I had a picture of them with me in the Golf Cart!!! It may be the image in my mind's eye that gave me the problem with double vision - NAH!!!
Thanks for the help moving vehicles around. Figured you'd rather drive the 'vette than the GC!! Nicely backed through the campsite - I might add!!!
Everyone is tagged in the album. Ted is Desmopilot, Bob Atkins is Gator Bob, Chris is Sherb. didn't get any photos of dean this year. He was camera shy I guess.
With my crazy work expereince during Petit this year I am only starting to get caught up. It was great to see/meet everyone that came out this year. Was a great time in spite of my stress level, It was strange to wake up Monday morning without a bourbon hangover though!
Thanks to everyone that came out. Cotter it was great to see you as always, sorry you got sick. You were definitely missed after you left. Already looking forward to next year and praying I can enjoy it without work geting in the way.
Had a blast! It was great to meet all of you. The old man must've had a great time too.....I just got word from my mom that he was out shopping for camping gear already last week.
I can't guarentee I'll be able to make it next year due to work (I was lucky to get out of it this year), but it's definitely on the list of things to do again if I can swing it. I think Mick is already set to go back next year, regardless if I can make it or not.
