I will never purchase a cod game on the PC ever again. Every single one has some sort of issue not to mention the community is nonexistent. If you're planning on picking it up, know that finding a decent multiplayer game will be an issue within a few months.

I'm just an impetuous old FPS purchaser and right now, I'll settle for getting into a game that doesn't freeze me out.

I love watching game reviews/breakdowns from Total Biscuit. He tells it like it is.
I don't think they really ever updated the game engine since the first Modern Warfare or even since Call of Duty 2. It really seems recycled from the previous version since every release. I haven't played since MW2. I have never tried any of the Treyarch versions so I can't speak for their versions of the game.
I tried to warn you. Getting a COD game on the PC is a big mistake. Trust me, I've purchased every game except MW3.
It's not the COD'ish ness I have an issue with. I know what COD is, and ( I thought ) I knew what to expect.
The gameplay and the frat boy asshats are normal
What I didn't expect was the most piss poor optimisation for a PC that I've seen yet.
The field of view issue is the biggest. the graphics don't bother me unduly.
The map design is simply the worst yet. It would b tolerable if the FOV was 90 degrees.
On the positive side, its made BF4's me stop caring about BF4's problems, I just laugh off the crashes because at least when I do play I have fun.
I'll give Ghosts another chance if they fix the field of view, I can be bothered to install it again, and I have some liquor nearby to aid with the MP experience.

Black Ops is a train wreck, it has horrible lag because of the server, I can't even explain how aweful it runs on my PC(which is no slouch). I cannot play Black Ops 2 because every time I use my iron sites the game either freezes up or slows down to a crawl. As far as I'm concerned from now on, COD is a console game only.
I didn't think Titanfall was going to be released until March of next year. You mean it is coming out tomorrow?
