For those that might be interested......tues & thurs I have the house to my self for a few hrs in the moring (my time) and I'd like to take advantage of it and hopefully turn some laps with those that have GSC 2013 and are available!
iam gonna set up a dedicated server using just ingame content for the time beining to avoid any mismatches from 10am- 1pm mt on tues and 10am-2pm mt on thurs
Dedicated server name: 2old2play.com. Server will be open to the public to hopefully draw some more racers to our group
content:
ill pick one track a week and post it here
vehicles: tues Mini no tuning involved so just drop in and drive :)
thurs: have not decided yet probably the v8 or an open wheeler
all the cars base tunes are excellent out of the box and the tracks take no time to learn!
server set up:
160 min practice
quali 10 min
race 1 30 min race
AI x15 set to 95%
tire wear x2
ill turn on assists for those who use them
if we get a decent amount of interest we might look into testing some mods on thurs (VTCC or Blancpain)

I can never work out what time that is Gmt but I will be on if does not conflict with testing. Changing those setting that for some unexplicable reason are set so low has improved the look, and while I still don't see this as the best thing since sliced bread, it is a good collection of the best rF1 tweaks all under one roof and the mini's are fun, so I hope tuesday works out...I think it is 5pm to 9pm which covers picking up Mrs Knight from work, eating and later going out to play music...but I think if I have my local times right it leaves just enough time for a bit of practice and the race, Thursday is out as that is test night. Team speak will of course be avaliable for 2O2R members.
-7 hrs if my international time is correct. I don't compare it to current/future sims as they are far more advanced but it's the best of the currently completed sims. For me everything feels just and was much easier out the box.....like you said it's the best of rf1 bundled into one.
Oh any GBR members can PM Kurupt or I for Teamspeak info of course.
As for everything being right out the box? Still had to mess with ini files, my pet hate LOL. Okay these days I have more idea about these things but FFS is it not time these things were consigned to the dustbin of history? Simple stuff like setting your FOV should be in sim...I'm dead chuffed to have got that done in that other one :)
Still it's a good idea to make this open to all, like you say we may get some interest from it.

Tuesday is out for me but Thursday is fine.
Not too fussed on missing the minis anyway and could do with learning more of the powerful RWD cars anyway.
V8, open wheel, and Blancpain sounds perfect.
Strange how I was searching around somewhere to race on Thursdays lol.
Depending on your wheel rotation Reiza suggests for a more realistic rotation change your degrees of rotation from default 270 to 540 in your controller file with an ingame steering lock of 22 I use 23-25 depending on car the suggested just felt a tad to small on turn in.
sounds good tartan! For this thurs will run the stock car v8 same track and settings as the tues server.
Note: remember to map a push to pass button!
Push to pass adds an extra 50hp for 5 secs and has a 3 min waiting time till it can activated again so plan them wisely :)
not 100% sure if they are used in the touring car category I believe only in the v8 and open wheelers
Iam gonna have to postpone this server till the final release and the multiplayer is patched....there are some bugs that doesn't allow some people to join servers and the host not able to join his own dedicated server. I'll keep you informed!

I have a 4 door touring car mod which is a conversion of the 4 door model from R07 and I have a 98 super tourer mod
Well for some reason my GSC has completely stopped working.
Have tried everything but reinstalling windows and from what ive read it doesnt seem to like MSI After burner.
Any suggestions?
Have you updated to v1.10 and installed gsync?
also run as admin
Yeah finally got it after around 9 hours on and off lol.
reinstalled, shut down afterburner completely and run as admin.
Someone on Race Department has already had the same issue and sent Rieza the crash dumps.

Heh PC's all these fecking years and they are still a pain in the butt, but I am glad I came back to 'em none the less. Haven't fired up the console other than to play a bit of GTA for months.
