ASC GARAGE **New Sebring Specials**
The ANTI super car garage.
(I don't race, tune or care for virtually any super car in-game or real life)
Instead of new threads I'll just add them to this one. I'm posting some of my best stuff to try and get a bit more "mileage" from FM4 before we start losing people to FM5 (I may not be on FM5 till this time next year)
Anyhow the first car is the E36 M3 that everyone saw in action during the BMW Builders and Tuners series. This car is wicked fast and is one of my best tunes. It's not the easiest to drive, but it's NOTHING like the A600 Datsun I posted. This was a several months long tuning process since this is my favorite car in the game.
It IS on my storefront right meow.
The next car is going to be an MGB GT @ B500. It's proving to be a PITA, but I'm getting there.
And now a B500 MGB GT. I've always liked these cars in real life so I had to take the time to come up with a solid tune in Forza. And here it is.
It's a medium track type B-class car. Not Road America, but not Catalunya School either.
I was running 1:33's at Silverstone International, low 1.35's at Rd Atlanta, and 1.45's at Maple Valley (not the best car for M/V)
If it has a down side it's that it WILL roll when hitting curbs. Don't hit curbs. There is no point in slowing the car down everywhere just so you can hit curbs when in reality it's probably going to cause a roll over anyhow.
Paint and tune are now on my storefront.
And another car that took serious time to get right. A NO aero A600 RS500 Ford. This is a fast car that is good on tracks like Hockenheim and Rd Atlanta. It's capable of 1:28's at Rd Atlanta and 1.49's at Hockenheim (with the Church line in corner 1) with me driving.
Tune and several paints for this car are on my storefront. And if you don't see a touring car paint that you want for this car ask as I probably have a version that wasn't finished enough to post on my storefront (and that would give me motivation to finish it)
This is a B500 Alpha Sprint GTA
This is a killer car. I posted a 1:32.6 or 8 with this car at Silverstone International and I wouldn't be surprised if Cobra and the like couldn't get it down into the 1:30's.
Anyhow it's on my storefront....Definately the best B500 car at Silverstone International that I have ever driven.
Any feedback on these??
Don't be afraid to get a little closer with the camera...
But then everyone would see all the mistakes in the paint LOL
I meant on the tunes.
Are you just selling tunes? I thought you were selling paints. I'll have to reread it. My bad. Always looking for tunes!
This thread is for the tunes I've posted on my storefront. Sometimes I'll throw a paint up for the cars that I post a tune for but not always. I don't have a paint for the BMW M3 but I did post a tune. The Ford, MGB and alfa I posted a tune and paint.
My newest car is an E (yes E) 275 VW Rabbit GTI.
Pretty nice car. It's not a leaderboard car I assume, but it's quite nice on the shorter versions of most tracks.
I put this one in the club garage.
Have you tried for any interst in the lower cars for a series? I know there are some that liek them and arn't the usual suspects in the faster races. I am not sure if they'd be interested or not though. I love E-B as much as any other, and it promotes closer racing, visually anyway. That rabbit is a quick car in some classes BTW...or is it the golf?
Not really sure about this one. It's a rabbit and I know the Golf MkII is really fast. I did this one because It was a car from grim that he put in the auction house so I could pay the credits I owed.
The lower class stuff just takes a short time to adjust too really. Guys that hate it are always in A600 and up and if you just jump to this stuff while running regular old pick races they will feel god awful slow. Once used to them they are nice I think.
It might be an idea for a series. I know that the ones I do in the future will be MUCH shorter running 4 maybe 5 weeks. So that should let me try a few other things.
This VW is truly wicked.
I know it's only E class but I set a few 700-800's on the LB with it on tracks with lots of entries. All within a few laps of starting
Okay, I'm going to have to try it. If only to get some use out of my rabbit! Besides mine has the ugliest paint job on it, so that's another excuse to tinker with it...Maybe a California Custom airbrush paint job?
Is it on your storefront, I'm in the Euro garage...
I think I did put it up there.
New ASC Garage uploads.
Sebring Specials.
First is a B500 65' Ford Mustang.
Pretty fast at Sebring. I ran a 2.24.8 and I gave up time in a few places. Also ran a 1.34.something at Road Atlanta and gave up some time a few places here too.
It has strong acceleration and good handling. It's no Ford Escort, or Scion FR-S in the grip department. So of course Infineon and Maple Valley aren't the best tracks for this car.
Second is an A600 66' Chevy Nova. This is a car tuned just for max acceleration out of corners. It puts power down really well considering it's acceleration rating (8.7). It's a bit tight at most tracks but I've found it works well at Road Atlanta and Hockenheim. I ran a 2.15.3 at Sebring and think I can get this car into the 2.14's
(You can't really tell but this is a photo of the B500 version that I'm going to release later this week. The B500 version is a great all around car with acceleration close to what the Mustang has but with better handling)
The mustang is awesome!
I really should get that Nova (DLC). Its such a cool looking car
Ya you should. It's killer in A and B. It's a better all around car in B
