Battlefield 4 Weekend Thread
Post here if you will be playing this long holiday weekend. I'm off work the 28th and 29th so I will be getting in as much BF4 as I can. Especially with the double XP coming. Feel free to shoot me a FR and we will hopefully get a room full of 2o2p.
I should be on a lot. I'm off from Wednesday through Sunday and the wife and I aren't going anywhere for the holiday.
any body find out if you can cross play PS4 to PS3?
If so I'll be on.

I should be on a good bit, I've been waiting on the patch to come before getting back into the groove. Any word on when it will be implemented?
I'm up if the game is working(although I have to work Friday) I played a game last night and had no issues.....keeping my fingers crossed.
Ive had hardly any issues with this game lately. I get into 64 conquest games and dom games. It's been good for me.
I was on a bit last night. and noticed the the setting for lag vs. smooth? seems that there is a fine balance on the large maps, or maybe my network sucks.
I've been kinda holding off too, but it appears things are smoothing out. I'm getting my PS4 chat cable in tomorrow and I really prefer to use my X41s playing BF4. Keeps the wife happy and doesnt sound like a war zone in the house. Maybe starting Wednesday night we can get a party going and jump into a good mix of games.

Looks like a new update is available for the PS4. Fixes a lot of the issues.

With the update now out, I should be on this weekend especially after the wife goes to bed. I was trying to play last weekend and finally got into some 64 player conquest matches but kept getting kicked about the third round in. My quit percentage is now up above 20%, which I don't know if that actually accounts for anything or not, but hopefully this update stabalizes things.
Even after the patch I'm erroring out on Conquest matches. Also, the lag was terrible last night for me and my broadband is 15 down, 1 up
Yeah, Lethal, Journa1, catsweat, and I were playing on a 64-person conquest server and it crapped out towards the end of the game. Lost all of the stats, I think.
I have 30/5 and still get choppy on some maps. In options -> gameplay there is a smoothing feature that sounds like a buffer setting. It helps some with the choppy screens, but then seems to have a lower response time ( I loose more one on one battles).
I should be online this weekend, hope to play with you fellas if possible!!!!
I tried to play a round or two last night.
35/3 package here, and I just can't handle the lag compensation... I am losing way too many battles one on one...
I still don't know the maps that well, but seriously... it's brutal laying what I figure to be 4-5 good hits into an opposition player only to take 1 or 2 and die.
I really want to love this game... but I'm barely liking it right now.
64/64 servers likely aren't going to be the place to play for a while...
I played a bunch last night. I didn't see anyone to group up with. I've been having great games almost all the time.
Game still doesn't work for me. I seem to get booted right at the end nearly every match.
That is still happening to me and I have a 25/5 connection. Its a fun game when I can actually get in a full round in but to keep getting kicked out to PS4 main screen is starting to get a little annoying.
Played a new mode last night - Obliteration. Different level of mayhem and a nice change up.
commander mode ode is nice when the wife wants to watch TV
Obliteration can really get one sided. especially when someone grabs the bomb, and simply drives around the maps on a 4 wheeler, or in a jeep.
it is a team map for sure. The worst part is when a smurf grabs the bomb and runs to the top of a building and sits.
Looks like a new update will hit the PS4 soon.
New update is out and I will be prying myself away from AC4 this weekend for some BF4.
If you are Premium there is still Double XP until 12/9. The Boost packs DO stack too.
