The correct answers to those questions don't matter.  Those supposedly smart people we elected are screwing up the country big time.  They always have over time.  Hopefully those students are learning something useful in life like math, science, engineering, being a good parent if they choose to reproduce. vs politics and number of stars on a flag.

Didn't mean your post.

“Our youth now love luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for their elders and love chatter in place of exercise; they no longer rise when elders enter the room; they contradict their parents, chatter before company; gobble up their food and tyrannize their teachers.”  Attributed to Socrates.  Things never change.  wink

This is the problem with our youth today! I never needed an excuse to talk to hot girls. And here's the surprise, once you get out of highschool, hot girls will talk to you!

Most of them are lonely because idjits are intimidated and don't try. Of course there's the few unable to actually hold a conversation sadly...but they can be found anywhere.

The problem with today’s youth is they’re a bunch of fucken pussies and we can only blame ourselves because that’s how we brought them up. God forbid you scold a child or address them in any manner that doesn’t promote positive affirmation even when they do or say things as stupid as fuck else you’ll have social services at your door claiming child abuse. Personal accountability rarely exist anymore and that’s not just our youth.

I was brought up with the saying sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me and quite frankly still live that way but today’s youth are such pansies the spoken word can hurt their delicate feelings. Serenity now.

I always make an effort to laugh at my kids and call them losers when I beat them at snakes and ladders. Am I doing it right?

Yes and make sure to blame all inadequacies on the "other" side of the family lol.  Just joking by the way.

I think that every generation has said that the next one is (insert term here).     Really though I blame adults.  There was a school the other day that suspended a 6 year old because he kissed a girl on the hand.  They even wanted to put it on his record a sexual assault.  This is an educated superintendant that was deciding this.  After the outcry from the public once it hit national news they of course changed it and let the kid back in school.   Reading though the comments though on the article there were a number of adults who were calling for the parents of the girl to press charges.  So to me its not just young people, but a shitload of people who don't have any damn common sense.

Parcells applauds your effort but I'm not convinced you fellas fully appreciate the meaning of my message. I can't place my finger on it but you're missing something. I'll try to be more succinct in the future.

No I understand and agree.  If you are hard on someone now for a good reason more than likely you will be the one punished.  In schools if they try to punish a kid for bad behavior it usually ends up in the parents coming to the school to chew the teacher's ass off. My wife works at a school and sees this all the time.

I investigate aircraft accidents, god forbid I tell someone they suck as a pilot.  They will call thier congressman and then I'll be on the red carpet explaining why  I told this poor guy who has only crashed twice before that he has no business flying.

People are too damn sensitive and a lot don't take responsibility for their actions.  Its always someone else's fault, or my parents let me do whatever I wanted so I didn't learn right and wrong.  Like the kid in Texas that killed four people but its not his fault, his parents taught him that wealth brings privilage.

Its the movie Idocracy coming to fruition.

I have been punished too many times for giving people a hard time over poor job performance. I don't dare talk about it, much less put something over the internet. Look what happened to Rouge...

I hear ya. Everyone where I work is too scared to tackle poor workers because the unions are so strong. Of course the worst workers have the strongest union ties.

regardless of your political views, this stuff is taught in civics and history class.  I mean, the Revolutionary War?  That has nothing to do with current politics, and was definitely taught to these kids in grade school.  The point here is that kids don't care to learn at all anymore - they just want to twitter during and in between classes.  And teachers aren't pushing them hard enough, in many cases.

That kid knew who to interview. He picked those kids for a reason... We had the same groups of dumb basterds in high school too.
