I was one of the guys who pre-ordered the Fanatec Porsche S wheel. I was Pretty ticked it doesn't work with the xbox one as well. I sold it just prior to the release of the X1 (got barely enough to cover my new stand) but really, it had been collecting dust since FM4... for a variety of reasons, I just couldn't get into that game (the hoppers were probably the biggest deal).
And yeah, been playing guitar for over 25 years now... long time. Never too late to pick it up! Have Santa bring you a nice acoustic to start on!
I used to paint a lot in FM2 (some in FM3 as well) when the community @ forzamotorsport.net was all using the auction house to move our art, often in a collectable series. Made tons of credits that way. I was one of the billionares in FM2 (had a Batman car that went for an insane amount) lol I doubt I'll do much now though... really don't have the time to race and paint a lot, and firstly, Forza is a race game for me. :)

Looking forward to the race Saturday... tried a run in the hoppers tonight, and was hugely disappointed. Mario Kart provides a more true race experience. I was slammed all over the place constantly.
Parcells will be scheduling the airing of the grievances in due course. This year festivus will not wrap up until someone pins down Sarcasmo in the feats of strength. The aluminum pole is going up this weekend; As always please refrain from tinsel, I find it very distracting.

Hey, did you end up getting Fm5? I Had to give up the Fanatec which burns a little, but at least the thruster is PC compatible too
We try to race clean in here Groo with just a bit of door handle rubbing.

Hey there's a variety of guys on the track, and how aggressive/assertive they are varies. But the hoppers are something else. Did maybe 10 races, and every race I was knocked off the track at least once, and often more than that. It's one thing to be bumped a bit as you're trying to go 2 wide through a tight turn, but that's not the case in the hoppers. Most of them barely can go one wide.
But since it's been a while since I've raced online in traffic, I figured I better practice up a bit. Hot lapping is one thing, but setting up for a clean pass is an entirely different skill set.
I was thinking of doing that same paint job for mine. Instead I went for something a bit more quick and simple. To bad you can't gift that out, It's an amazing looking paint job!
My FR list is quite full, i know you can follow people on XB1 but still havnt figured out how to do it
This is how you do it..it took me a little bit...If YOU have a follower you want to make a friend it can only be done on the XB1 counsoul dashboard.....Go to friends, then highlight "followers" it should tell you that you have a NEW follower if they just started following you,,if not go thru your followers list and find the person you want and hit "A" button to open up there profile,,,then you add them to your friends list,,,hope this is helpful

You have to go into the same area where it says "search for player" or something like that..and put in the gamertag then just hit "follow"

Great looking paints guys. This is one of the areas I really miss. Painting was so relaxing for me.
