Looks like the next update for hangars and such will include an organizations update...I am going to kick one off. I'll put some thought into the charter and you all are invited. The charter might change based on what SC actually ends up being...but I believe the initial organization would see us as privateers operating from the asteroid base. Plenty of NPC victims...and I think we could also have a Rebel/revolutionary streak as I believe the UEE government is corrupt and non-representative of the people (see the fiction). I certainly would enjoy having some input from possible members.
Eventually, once we get some definition I might put something up in the organization forums over there.
I like it Kurupt. I've been spending too much time with the inlaws...and hiding in the subscriber forums. :D I've got a rough draft concept for the org, and I've been pinged by a couple guys on that end about a "pirate" group. Although, I think we'll be more...Merry Men, than pirates.
I was thinking about defacing a UEE Navy insignia...
But...then I was also thinking about how that identifies my ship. If they don't know I am intent on taking their cargo...maybe something a bit more...discreet?
That's hilarious. Surely, every Drake ship comes with that standard on the aft-ramp...and big trucker mud flaps.
I guess when it comes to organizations it's sort of a cool/interesting thing.
First, you can join mulitple orgs...so we can belong to the NPC Pirate Guild (or whatever that is), the Bounty Hunters Guild, our own organization, and the Ex-UEE Angry Set, or whatever. I think this goes a long way to establishing pretty interesting identities in SC.
I have been spamming the 'Ask Chris" link asking how ships will be ID'd. If it is by name and nothing else, then the org name makes no difference. If it is with an organizational transponder, then I'm not sure if we want to go with "Shiver me timbers, open yer cargo holds and prepare to be boarded" as our corporate motto or "My Pretty Pony Road Side Assistance."
Just some thoughts.

Whateverever happened to that ship you were designing Kurupt? And I see SERAPH sent you a comment (was looking for that ship link). He's special.
Doin fine dude. I have been in one beta for ESO two weeks ago over the weekend. Was a lot of fun and ran on my PC that can't run mwo so ya pretty sweet. Anyway still waiting on a new laptop. This star citizen looks.pretty cool. Gonna have what mwo has been promising?? Anyway you guys get to play it yet?
Thus far only the Hanger module is out, get to walkaround and in your ships. There's also a firing range where you get to fire off the weapons your ship has. When are you planning on getting this new laptop? We'd love to have you in our little group. Fulcrum Cargo and Consulting, you could always sign up for the site and check us out.
Well I hope to have one by the end of march. But I have been saying I am getting a new PC for around a year now. Just lots of crap getting in the way. You know...
Anyways ya hopefully after my tax refund I will b able to get the PC I want and I will see yas in mwo and in star citizen and ESO if anyone here is gonna play it and is either. Khajiit h high elf or wood elf. If one of the others then I will look forward to tasting your blood in battle.
I call SHOTGUN!!!!!!

Most likely a syndicate...
Might I suggest something like a "Pirate" variation of the VF-84 Jolly Rogers of the USN?

So a PVF-202 "Jolly Rogers"

If you want to listen to the song.
Yeah I'm not touching that group of merry men with a quarterstaff....

How's Skyrim online?

So NOT this right?
