Is Bungie going to make the "Defiance" we all were hoping for?

I know they're different in alot of ways - at least what we already know. Destiny is a FPS/MMO and Defiance was a.....well, imho Defiance was a collosal mess. When it did run, it was third person and had more pop up issues than the freezer section at Kroger. 

I think it had it's moments, but it could have been so much more. So that said, today I saw what many of you have probably already seen - actual gameplay from Destiny. It looked to me like a cross between Halo, Borderlands and BF4. 

BF4? Are you crazy? 

Well, maybe not exactly like 1/3 BF4, but there apparently are alot of customizations for your firearms in this game, and it seems to put forth a "squad-like" type of gameplay, so...yeah, BF4. :)

So the question is - will Bungie make a game that works? Will it be the Defiance so many hoped that game would be? Will it have alot of humor in it "I'll see if I can rub some sticks together." "We always visit the nicest places." - says the "Ghost" light ball thing in the video...lol...

Are you planning on playing it? If so, can I offer my services...in game.....that is....I will run around and die and you can revive me! I bet you even get points or in-game coin for that. 

So, Destiny will be the next Halo - or not?

The one thing you should know is that I'm pretty sure the crystal clear audio you hear is not over your average headsets. I've watched two version of this video and the narration was different in alot of places, just within the first 3 minutes of footage. I believe the narration has been dubbed into this - but I have no proof of that - just a hunch. Hopefully though, we'll all sound at least half this good in the real game. :)
