Titanfall Alpha gameplay
Video showing a round of domination in the Titanfall Alpha going on now. I'm pretty sure this violates the NDA the tester agreed to so this video probably won't last long.

That actually looks pretty good...here's hoping they have more to offer than the standard TDM and Dom type modes... Think I'll have to pick this one up...glad I kept my 360. Thanks for the link!
I'm not liking the cloak they can use, but other then that looks great.
The cloak hasn't been an issue at all. It doesn't last long
It also seems to obscure the kill feed, at least. Maybe there are a few other drawbacks about it as well, to help balance it.

i pre-ordered for 360 but i'm starting to re-think it and might cancel. 360 version most likely is not the same from what i've read.
FINALLY some whole games to watch. Lots of videos on that site.
I can finally get a general idea what the game is like and it looks epic. The game looks like lots of fun. Granted, it's hard to get a true feel watching noobs play a brand new game, but I must say I'm impressed and can't wait to give it a go.
I found it to it to be a blast. Even when you lost, it was still fun. The epiloge after the match is a great idea
Was the running commentary on Domination a little overwhelming? From what I saw, it seemed to be talking constantly.
I did notice that in the videos too. Perhaps it's one of those things that you don't really notice when playing. I mean you hear it and can respond, but you are otherwise distracted...lol
To tell you the truth, I can't really remember it being a distraction. Now, I can't speak for everyone, but I didn't really notice it.
I was keeping my 360 just for this and Spark - but if the 360 version isn't going to be the same, I might need to sell that thing and just pick up a One and this game later? hmmm....decisions...
Also kinda funny is how so many people are down on Ghosts. I think it's the best one since that old COD4. It's sure alot better than Blops1/2 to me - but then, i'm weird. :)
Ghosts seems to have a little different pace from previous CoD titles. Also, the maps are pretty drastically different in size, and the maps aren't as good as ones from previous offerings (as a whole).
Preordered mine for the xbone yesterday.
I like Ghosts and hated the last two COD games.My only complaint is some of the maps are so big it takes away from the COD feel.
Big rumor about Titanfall beta. Origin and EA let the "cat out of the bag" Respawn hasn't confirmed

A supposed Chat session with and EA employee confirmed a Beta more than once.
Nothing official and could be mistakes but Respawn has had ample opportunity to deny it and has not, yet.
I think it can't be a real Beta. Most likely a marketing ploy of some kind. I.E. Buy 'this' product and get TITANFALL pre-release.
Halo games have gone Gold (released to manufacturing) 4-5 weeks before release. Enough time to make and distribute the disks. We are currently 6 weeks from release and no Beta officially announced. My logic says a Beta would not allow enough time to make code changes before going Gold. .
I'm not sure that's really even what the beta would be. It might be for finding some balance issues if they let folks in and get word out about it. Put a hard level cap (like they did on the alpha) and give folks a strong taste of the game, what its like, and have a whole lot of people playing a test all at once so any balance problems do start to get hashed out.
I mean, that's better than waiting to address any balance issues and release patches 6 months into the title's lifespan.
Marketing ploy and I bet we hear about it Monday or Tuesday.
There are new CoD maps coming out tomorrow. Respawn will probably stick it to Activision and announce and/or release the "beta" this week
Any of these "beta" rumors for the 360?
At this point the game has to be pretty much done. I guess it's marketing and perhaps testing the balance and servers.

I'm sure the game is done, but that won't stop them from being able to have a Day 1 patch ready to go if some problems arise... Or at least already be working on a fix
Bah, it's not a Beta. Just marketing crap. Pre-order bonus. I can't pre-order digitally, AFAIK.

About the only thing that might get my goat, is if they sell the game and XB1 for $499.
I'm kind of hoping for that, actually. I haven't got my Xbone yet.
I seriously doubt the beta will be limited to GS pre-orders. They'll want to get it in as many hands as possible
As for limited, doesn't matter. Too late for changes. This is one of the few games that's been fully playable 9 months ahead of release (E3). The marble has been polished to death. Customers are hanging onto the edge of their seats and the marketers know it.
It's also an unusual product to promote since it's online only, no split screen and multiplayer only.
