If you built to what the spec sheet says and that’s what you came up with I’m guessing the spreadsheet PP and HP settings are inaccurate and we’ll use your values…wouldn’t surprise me that Jason added an oil change and that explains the difference? I probably haven’t built the car yet else I would have compared my values to what Jason sent me.
While I still don’t see the need for stupid oil changes and with GT5 there were plenty of convincing arguments to not use them it turns out that is not necessarily the case with GT6. I still think we should stick to no oil changes for Thursday evenings but if the majority think we should allow them I could be persuaded to alter this rule…But I think we have to go all or nothing as in every spec car should have an oil change or none…again to keep things simplistic.

P.(arcell)S....I might not be even on tonight Parcells...Seems my Verizon Internet speeds have been doing some severe fluctuations...The upload speeds are liquid...Sometimes it is what it is suppose to be 35Mbps and Up....to 2Mbps and below...Problem being when it gets as low as 9Mbps and below it kicks me off the GT6...Stating I have been signed out of PSN...I quit the game and get back to the main screen where it says I am still signed in...Sound Confusing?...Sounds like a pain in the ass to me...I get a new router tomorrow and hopefully straightens out the issue.
Dont forget to test the penalty and rolling start settings this week!
Personally, I think the penalty settings are jacked up. In the last two races in the Mazda series I've seen cars 'ghosting' for no apparent reason, or for something as simple as brushing a wall. I dont even think it works to penalize people who cut corners. At a few different times during the Mazda race on Sunday I had all four tires in the dirt and received no penalty.
Trying to figure out if the penalty system is done any better than GT5 (which I did not like) and Thursday evenings is probably the best night to give it a go....but not during spec races of course.
May require an additional reminder but thanks :)
FYI...I did remember to try the rolling start one Thursday but the game didn't allow me probably because of the track we were running?? Could be only Ovals that this option is enabled?

Parcells...OUTSTANDING Car last night...My apologies and forgiveness for any bumps...Wide range of braking techniques last night that did catch me off guard as I know I caught some of you. As the level of competetion on Thursday Nights is quite high it seemed if you weren't near the front of the start of the race start you might as well go home...A Lot of Fun...Some Great Battles....

I had some good battles last night too just that most of them were at the back of the pack and you're dead on about the braking points for the Red Bull junior...On one turn I broke (when you really didn't have to) and went from 2nd/3rd to last place in under 2 seconds flat...oh boy !

Parcells...I know we all have GT but is it possible to get the first names of the guys we race with..I know a lot of the Thursday night crowd has been with you a long time..I know you call a lot of guys by their first name....Mine will always be Wheels since I been hearing that since I was 5...

Your 'real' names are completely unfamiliar to me and I typically reject the requests of people I dont know.
Please change the Spec car for tomorrow night (Grand National) to have Racing Soft tires. The Racing Hards make this car a real struggle to drive because of amount of horsepower (and lack of rear differential, customization of setup, etc.) There's still some wheelspin generated with the Racing Soft tires, but it's managable.

The spreadsheet will be updated momentarily but having asked all you need to do is purchase the Honda CR-Z Touring car and then purchase intermediate and heavy wet tires as we'll be running a couple very wet races this week. The final speed setting I'll be using for each track is below...no guarantees they'll help you.
Spa - 143, all other tracks - 137.
Spa and Brands hatch will be the two wet races

Apologies to UnSub for the uncalled for punt in the Brands Hatch race...no excuse for it, I fucked up, sorry.
That was me! You punted me clear off the track, through the grass, and all the way up the hill to the wall! LOL I couldn't stop because the grass was soaking wet. I'd say it didnt really matter in the big picture because I had on intermediates and was clearly slower than every one else. I thought that the IM tires would be fast like they were back in the Mazda Series race at Monza, but that wasnt in 100% wet conditions.
That was a heck of a fun car to drive, but the highlight of the night was me and Wheels playing "Days of Thunder" in the Mini Cooper's at Tsukuba. "GD, Jason, you're tearin' the shit outta my car!" LOL!!
