Don't you mean
"Hie ye to yon web site and get thee some!"
I got the invite - are we going to try and organize something for the weekend?
I would like to get a group together. I am not sure what to expect. I am going to see if there is a download or what not when I go home.
If there are multiple servers then whom ever gets this up and running first, just post up what server and we try to get on.
ESO is borked, I have tried to login and reset my password and it won't let me.
No beta for me.
Thats no good.
Still downloading the client. Anyone get theirs up and going.
Well, I played for a bit last night.
I played for a few hours last night and enjoyed it. Been having fun just exploring the area and doing some crafting. I am for sure pre-ordering next week.
I uninstalled my client and forgot about it. This is a thumbs down from me.
Yea I don't think this game is going to be as big as some think. Simply due to I feel it is like some of the older mmo's. Its made more for the exploring and enjoying the game than ripping through to get to the "endgame".
I miss EQ2 and SWG, games where you could go where ever you were brave enough to adventure too. You might get one hit killed by something but it was always fun.
Most of the games out now focus too damn much on blazing through to the level cap so that you can then actually start playing the game. I play Rift right now and I can't do crap with my guild because I'm not lvl 60. I can't even access some of the areas because I don't meet the level requirements. How the hell is that an MMO.
I've been reading some forums and I know to some people combat animation is more important than the system itself. The fact that the graphics aren't as good or better than Skyrim, which some people don't understand you can't do that in an MMO, just ask the Vanguard people.
My favorite in the series is still Oblivion. Partly because of the go anywhere, do anything aspect. Over the course of the weekend, I picked no pockets and stabbed no backs - kind of takes the fun out of being a handsome rogue ...
Yea, and I think thats what is going to lead to trouble with this game. They are bidding it as Elder Scrolls, yet a lot of stuff that people liked about the singe player game is not going to be present that I know of. Pickpocketing, spellmaking (which was even missing form Skyrim), and player houses.
Thats the problem with taking a well liked single player game and trying to exploit that fanbase into buying the mmo. A lot are going to be expecting the elements from the single player game; graphics, mechanics, and interface.
