Hello all. Glad to be here.

Hello all! 

I am very grateful that a community like this exist and elated that I was able to find this site. 

A little bit about me:

I'm 32 years old, work in IT, and I've been gaming since I was old enough to hold a controller (Atari 2600 to be exact). I was a rabid Halo 2 player back in the day, but have since gotten myself a family and a career. As a result, I'm not able to play as often as I want, but I make time to get on and shoot something up a couple of times a week. Lately, I've lost touch will all my old gaming buddies - they've either lost interest in gaming, or we no longer have anything in common and have parted ways.

I'm finding the digital space pure suck as if I do dare enable game chat, all I hear is Timmy's screaming obscenities that I'm willing to bet they don't fully understand (lol) and they're all try hards. I can somewhat appreciate the antics and attitude as I was that guy during the Halo 2 days, but I've grown beyond that style of play. Now I just want to play a game and have fun doing it. Needless to say, games are only half as fun playing alone and in silence. 

For multiplayer, I'm an XBOX guy. I'm primarily drawn to FPS - Halo to be exact. Not to offend anyone, but I'm not a fan of the CoDs. Honestly though, I'll play anything that's fun. I have a varied taste in games and refuse to accept the younger gamers doctrine that the only games worth playing are FPS. In fact, if I make some online friends here that are into games outside of FPS, I would call that a full on win.

I have a twisted/dark sense of humor and can get a very foul mouth while playing (not aggressive/try hard, but definitely crude and humorous).
