Any knowledgeable Gun owners

 I'm currentlly looking at picking up a new Rifle and I'm wanting the Saiga .223. It's an AK based design that fires a .223 round which is smaller than the AK-47 at 7.62 mm. My question is does anyone own this weapon,or has fired it. I'm mainly seeking info on reliability and/or any known problems with the weapon. For the price,between $200 to $500 depending on accessories,it's a damn nice Rifle. Plus with the way anti gun fools are trying to push new laws I may not be looked at so hard since the weapon is considered a hunting Carbine and not a War/Gang weapon. Any info would be great.
