I bought Rayman Ledgens, it's a kids game! =/
I went to Gamestop today and I asked the guy twice if Rayman Ledgens was a good game. He said ya ya man I bought it twice. Well I get it home and put it in and its a kids game.. =/ Oh well I guess I have something for my niece and nephew to play when they come over.
I haven't played Legends but Origins is f'ing tough/fun/great to look at.
My daughter and I had a very good time playing Origins on the PS3. I will pick up legends once there is a price drop. $60 is too much considering how fast Origins dropped in price.
Origins got hard as hell later in the game too.
Edit: I just noticed that Rayman Legends is $39.99 on the Playstation Store. It was $59.99 at Best Buy last night. $40 is much more palatable. I may just pick it up for another game to play with my daughter.
I have played it some more and I don't think its a bad game. It's just really geared for kids. I know my neice and nephew will have a good time playing it when they come over. So I plan on keeping it.
It's a kids game to a certain point but if you're going for the platinum then that's another story.
I purchased Rayman last night from the PS store and I must say it's a pretty darn good game. If you like platformers, this is the game for you. My daughter and I finished the first section and had an absolute blast doing so. The gameplay is tight and responsive and graphics are outstanding and whimsical. For $40, it's absolutely worth it.
As far as the difficulty is concerned, it's easy to pick up and play with younger children, but collecting all the items and characters requires someone with major video gaming skills. It can be extremely difficult at times.
