Did any of you get presents???
Did any of you get presents???
Just for the hell of it,
Did any of you get fun and exciting things for yourself with your tax return? This may be a dumb question, but if you did get money back, did you get to purchase yourself treats? What did you get? (Keep in mind, I'm single, no kids, so this may not apply appropriately to some of you... Sorry I'm just really excited for GT6!)
Here's my list of goodies when the money comes in...
-Pre-owned PS3 and GT6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-New 360 controller
-New cable for the Turtle Beaches
-New Mikuni VM30 carbs, new chain and sprockets, and new clip ons for the motorcycle. (It's a cafe bike)
Can't wait!!!
Nothing wrong with treating yourself with return money if you get some. You did work and earn it in the first place anyway. Nothing I really need or want really. I could get a new wheel and xbone for one game, but I'm waiting to see what is still coming for the new consoles as in sim racers and wheels for the ps4 and the xbone before I buy the next gen.
Still got the Xbox cash sat in the bank. The. £399 offer with titan fall is very tempting But I want my National B Licence
I spent most on Dr. bills but I did get my PS3, GT6, and a new headset.
I bought a new CZ-SP 01 9mm (handgun) and trying to talk my wife into letting me buy a custom exhaust for our Saturn SKY.
How do you like the CZ? I have never shot one of those.
It's a great firearm. I went with the CZ-SP 01 Tactical. You can also get a CZ-SP 01 Phantom and a CZ P07 Duty but both are polymere frames were mine is all steel frame. Granted I'd say mine probly weighs 3 - 4 pounds when loaded (18+1) I just prefer the added weight over a polymere. It's not as snappy (recoil/muzzle lift) in my hand. I've fired the Glocks and others but I'm not a fan of the striker fire guns,I prefer a full hammer setup. I just like the weight, aiso I'm not the guy who can fire 2 inch groups 50 yards down range so having the all steel gun helps me stay on target.
The downside is that weapon is full size,so when compared to something like a Glock 26 it's kinda big. It may not be the best conceal/carry gun (I'm licensed to conceal/carry) but the way in which you carry it can make a big difference.
Now I could just find a Saiga .223 I'd be happy...
BTW check out (on google/youtube etc) the KelTech PLR-16. The government considers that a pistol! Granted I would never carry that around, but at a price point between 400 to 500 dollars I may be getting one. Screw the exhaust...
I just got my permit to carry and I am waiting for my holster to show up. My glock 19 came with a OWB, and I can't conceal that one at all, so I am getting a IWB. There are a couple things on my list that I want to pick up, just haven't had the time right now.
The KelTech looks like it would be fun.
Don't really need anything for sim racing, my setup is about where I want it now. Just got some ECCI pedals for my birthday back in December. My house needs a new roof and that is where most of the tax return money will be spent this year.
I'll just be happy if I don't have to pay anything. :(
