We highly recomend that you guys download Mumble and join our 2o2p server. Its the best way to meet new people and team up with members. Don't be shy!

In order to set up Mumble I would highly recommend using the set up wizard. From there you can enter in the server information and meet up in the SWTOR channel. I'll try to find us a better starting server as well. See you online
ahh, thankyou sir. was thinking this needed to be in here.
Yeah, seems like a lot of people have trouble setting it up so if you guys need help just post here.
i'm in
I am able to join chat with no issues. However, I seem to have a feedback issue. I have tried everything that I have thought of to no avail. Has anyone else had similar issues? If so, we're you able to fix it?
more people need to mumble
I downloaded it, then promptly forgot. :\
Look at it this way. Step 1 complete!
Very true :D
I'm unable to connect, I get a server connection failed : the remote host closed the connection error
I had to load mumble using the backward comaptiable icon because the primary icon gave me an error stating a referal was returned from the server.
Iused my 2old2play id for the user name, should i have used something else?
Anypne have any thoughts?
never mind, have it working now.
The link at the top of the thread is to an old version which was causing all of the problems
same same fitz. couldn't get it working until I did what you posted here. Link at top of thread is broken version.
Not being a PC gamer, i don't have all these fancy headsets and software . I could download the software but the laptop's 10 feet away connected to the TV. My kbd/mouse are bluetooth so wireless, i really don't want to stretch a cable . I have a set of Earforce Deltas for the xbox but i don't see how I could make those work on my laptop. so... i dunno.. texting isn't a great option either since the text is so damn small to read on the TV from so far away. no good options, definitly miss the simplicity of this kind of thing on the 360.
Alright, I'm changing the link to the correct version, apparently we are on 1.2.3a now.
TANK, I have this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003NREDG4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i02
it's $30-35, and has good spatial sound. However, if you're all wireless then maybe it wouldn't work for you. The cable is pretty long though.
Ok i mumbled, i had ano old Logitec headset laying around with an 8 foot cable on it with the old split plugs one for mic and one for headphones so i'm good to go. Mumble installed and at least thru the mumble testing appears to work.
Thanks for fixing the link hop. Must have been from the old SWTOR thread that I never changed.
I think Mumble has died, or D3 has died. One of the two. I get on the same times but no one is ever on Mumble.
LoL.... i have mumble but i never hear anyone mumbling.
you do not, i've never seen you on it and I get on it almost every time I get on - and i play with YOU! :P
Is this pretty light on resources? Would love to actually converse while trying to keep up with Pooslza,
i do have this setup last i checked, for swtor at least, should be the same. We have to try it out.
Okay, gonna try this again, or maybe for the first time, I can't remember...
connection failed server refused, annnnnnd I don't see where a password would be put in at? version 1.2.5
[5:04:53 PM] Reconnecting.
[5:04:55 PM] Server connection failed: Connection refused.
We have a new server. I'll put it in the clan info on diablo.
