I have a crush on my dentist.  She has boobs and a bad back.    Very cute.  Looks barely out of high school yet middle aged like me.  Might have to take a stab at spending some time with a human again.

I have a bad back.  Had an EMG today.  Nothing like being electrocuted repeatedly for an hour.  Hope my MRI gets approved finally.  Insurance company is playing Dr.  Getting a lawyer,  If insurance company wants to dictate care then they should be liable for their decisions.

Relate to bad backs big time. Well a good days filming and a promotion for knight! Tomorrow I am now the fight coordinator and am working with the princable actors choreographing their fights and trying to undo the damage caused by the last holder of the job. A guy who should ashamed of himself, his team was a shambles, the worst swordsmen I have ever seen. But all good for me, I get to do what I am good at! Really looking forward to tomorrow.laugh

Wait, all I heard was boobs?

Oh Oh Oh, we have had a TPMS failure as well, someone, do NOT ask me how, cross threaded the friggin valve stem core? HOW the hell do you do that, AND it caused a slow leak that wasn't found until now AND it can't be replaced without replacing at least part of the assembly. I'm looking now into just how much of it needs to and can be replaced. I'm guessing the dealerships gonna say, "have to replace complete assembly" however I've been online and I can get a partial for $30.00. Oh, we shall see.

Actually, I guess the system DID work as it kept indicating low pressure, it just wouldn't HOLD pressure. Had to tell 'em to put in a plain old valve stem as we had to hit the road the next morning to drive to Nashville.

BTW I'm guessing it's only now been found as whoever did it didn't want to say anything at the time...

On a brighter note, congrats Knight! Quality will out itself IF someone only notices, hehe. BTW, get some wax on that suit! I like Maguires. laugh

Oh, Kit, I don't assume that boobs lowers driver's I.Q., I just take more time talking to them. laugh

Used to problem shoot for my Dad's shop years ago and I loved talking with customers about why their car was in and the process of learning to ask the "right" questions was a fun one. Gauging who knew cars and who didn't and then digging the info out was truly entertaining for me. And make no mistake, even if the driver knows nothing about cars in general, they know when their car isn't behaving like it should, after all, they drive it everyday. Just have to coax the information out sometimes.

On the other hand, some service writers are pompous asshats with no clue what a wrench (spanner) is!

Thanks guys, just back at the hotel getting ready for the wrap party. Today went great, as I suspected what the previous guy left our principles with was dire, I did what I could in the short time I had, and the difference was vast. Three combat scenes done and dusted and one relieved director. Now I can go to the company that hired me with confidence and suggest they let me train up some of their people, and with mine we would have a team worth hireing. Another string to their bow under my leadership. So one company could supply, costume, weapons and armour, black powder, fire stunts and a trained combat team. Now drink!

That's awesome, Knight. You could always show up at a shoot unannounced and challenge the actors to a duel, but offer to train them up before the fight. Even if the script doesn't call for a fight scene, I'm sure that any responsible director would pay to give his actors a sporting chance. If that fails, take some wallets at the point of a sword. It's a win/win.

Speaking of TPMS and bad backs, the TPMS system of a lot of cars around here need to be reset after the first major drop in temperature.  That is obviously not the problem with yours Kit, but it is an interesting problem here.  When I ask the Service Manager about it, he just shrugs his shoulders and says, "who knows?  We just reset them and everything is fine."

As to bad backs, I have been dealing with one for awhile now which has been getting worse over the last couple of years.  Up until now I have hesitated seeking medical relief for the problem (read injections and surgery) because I can't afford to be laid up for any period of time for family reasons.  The pain, weakness, and disruption to my life has gotten so bad recently that I decided to start the process.  I have been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and a couple other "s"s that are probably the culprits behind the pain.  I am now in physical therapy .  The therapist told me that I have at least two back muscles that are in constant spasm, probably because of the stenosis, and the therapy program is focused on treating those muscles and doing stretching and strengthening exercises to get them out of spasm.  This seemed to be working. Pain levels at rest went down to almost 0 and with activity dropped from 5-6 to 2-3 (along with some pain meds).  Then I went out yesterday and played golf which is my passion in life, along with gaming.  I noticed an increase in flexibility, but as the round progressed, pain levels increased substantially and today I can hardly move.  Looks like I will have to move on to next steps -- MRI, back specialist, and possible surgery.

Btw, I don't post much here, but I do look forward each day to reading what is posted.  You guys -- and gal -- crack me up and definitely lighten my mood.  Even down posts seem to work their way back to the positive.

Anything for you achy, if I could I would sing Janet Jackson's " all for you " to you and I would mean every word of it.

Ha ha, glad to hear you enjoy the thread, yeah we do have the odd down moment. That's life, but hey life is too short to be miserable all the time. I have ostio arthritis, inoperable. Constant lower back pain and it is just part of life now, I dose up with pain killers when I need to work, they get me by. But it is tiring and some days I am quite debilitated.

So home at last, feeling very fragile after the Wrap Party that ended about half five this morning. Got nothing but compliments from everyone on the crew and cast for the way my people and I stepped up and saved the day, the Director was panicking the previous day and his expectations were at an all time low.

The company that hired me in as an extra did actually big me up, selling me to the director and telling him he had a fully experienced fight coordinator and choreographer who was being wasted as supporting henchman number 2 and told him to sack the last team and let me loose. Also they approached me with the idea of putting a combat team together  that they could offer as part of their package. So although they can drive me up the wall, they have noted my skill set and are happy to promote me as their go to man for this kind of work.

The sacked team have really shot themselves in the foot, their leader was the go to man...after this his name will be mud in Irish film and Tv circles.

So all in all a dream shoot, always the dream to be pulled from the ranks of the extras to do something more interesting, never expected to be given responsibility for the entire combat side in this way. It was great being the other side of the camera and placing the best people for any given job where they needed to be, and of course my people are great, all I have to do is say go there do your thing, and spend my time with the principles tweaking and perfecting their stance and form. In fact I was so busy getting everything else right, I forgot to include myself LOL But to just stand back and watch the people I trained doing their thing was great.

I did pick one scene for myself, one of the principles had to be killed with an axe to the chest and slammed against the trunk of a tree, over and over again for various camera angles. Very cathartic :)

I hope you get some relief soon, Achy. And really sorry to hear golf seems like a no go for now :(

Congrats and a pat on the back knight!! Woohoo!

Now for a funny story from my day: hubby had to have an endoscopy today to check his esophogas. (That's not the funny bit!) When I went back to see him in the recovery room he was coming out of anesthesia. He was laughing, and held his hand out to me. I went over and held my hand up, thinking he wanted to be all sweet and hold my hand. He laughed, and grabbed my boob. He would NOT release my boob. I was laughing and couldn't get him to stop because his IV was in that hand, and I was afraid to push his hand away. The nurse came over and I managed to wrangle myself away from him and grasp his hand in mine. The whole time the nurse was talking, he was giggling and trying to sneak in a boob graze with the side of his hand.

Im now wondering if he molested any nurse boobs before I got there lol

THEN the Dr came in to talk to us. While he's talking, there's a girl in the other side of the room with her husband and Dr. Her doc kept mentioning hemorrhoids. Every  time she said "hemorrhoids", hubby giggled. Every time. I think she said it seven times. THEN her doc mentioned that she shouldn't panic if she doesn't poop for a few days. I thought hubby was going to fall off the bed.

Ah boob molestation, a fine pastime. Kudos to hubby :)

Well life returns to normal and waiting for the call or email for the next job. It's my wedding anniversary though so a nice day spent happy shopping and taking in a movie, now relaxing and looking forward to a little boob molestation myself LOL

Couple of shots from Mondays shoot. Great weather made this a lot more fun than we expected, no rain and the sea just choppy enough to be a laugh.

Well, I had a long week.

Three day weekend in Nashville, chocoholics convention ( much fun was had by all)

Mid week 2 day trip to Youngstown Ohio area ( business trip), amazingly much fun was had by all and work got done!

And sadly, was planning a 3 day trip to Atlanta, but there was a death in the soon to be extended family, my son's fiance's grandmother died and we stayed for the viewing/funeral Friday Saturday.

Quite an eventful week all in all.

And just got off the phone with the wife, looks like our 12 year old baby dog is going to be put down. She's been showing signs of bad health and possible pain, and the wife's finally decided maybe it is time.

Hoo boy.
