There was an update for You'Tube's application on Xbox One today that enables uploading from your console. Its about 57 MB. I already uploaded a bunch of videos from my console and it works great.
You can always dl from Skydrive to your pc or laptop, then upload to YouTube from there to feature the entire clip. I would try another clip or two just to make sure, if you haven't already done so.
This is really convenient but I'm not ditching my capture device just yet. Game chat still isn't captured on the console's built-in DVR. Also, capturing game chat is still a pain on the Xbox One - you have to route it through HDMI in order to capture it on your capture device and the only way to do that is to unplug your headset/headset adapter and enable the dreaded Kinect for chat.
Just a quick tip - When your Xbox starts demonstrating strange behavior (recording shorter than usual, no sound in your clips, game not loading properly, no sound in chat, etc.), a hard reboot should fix things. Hard reboots fix everything (your console issues, your personal issues, PMS, and world hunger!). It's the console's equivalent of ctrl-alt-delete. Just hold down the power button for 10 seconds and your xbox should restart. When it restarts to a green xbox screen, you know you've just hard-rebooted.
Awsome, I'll have to check it out.
Yeah, it will upload straight from One Drive...pretty damn convenient.
Looks like it will only upload 1minute and 30 seconds of video.
Not sure why it cut my video then. The version on SkyDrive is about 4 minutes, on Youtube it's only 1:58.

I know I can do it on my PC, but that's an extra step. I haven't tried another clip yet.

I hard reset mine at least once a week. Just a habit I've developed to clear out it's cache.
