I only play Titanfall when I get an invite really anymore. I guess it's just like the other games Respawn used to make, can't keep my attention for very long.
What games did Respawn make before Titanfall? I thought it was their first one.
From what I've read online, the original developers at Infinity Ward who came up with Call of Duty 1-4 and Modern Warfare 1-2 left Activision to create Respawn. These are pretty good developers, among their notable achievements I count:
- Developed Call of Duty to compete (and eventually crush) the Medal of Honor series
- Basically led the whole WW2 FPS genre, until breaking new ground again with Modern Warfare
- Invented or popularized a bunch of features that are staples in FPS nowadays, like perks, kill streaks, martyrdom-type after-death attacks, etc.
As beaten to death as COD is, I think these original developers of COD had some good ideas.

Hi, GT Replevin001 on XBone. Pretty much been playing solo so far. Most of the time I'll have three to five pilot kills, one to two Titan kills and I will aboslutely go to town on grunts and spectres. My style of play consists of running aimlessly around like a mad man and attempting to blast anything that has the bad luck to run right in front of me. I'm trying to get proficient with the compact smg right now so I've had some games where I'm the guy who contributes 5 points. Sorry. I had one game where I got in a group of two other titans and we just went to town. That was a lot of fun.
Soooo, a couple etiquette questions. I don't have a headset yet, is that pretty much expected when you play with other folks? Also, is it considered bad form to just leave once the game is over? What's the best way to let other people know you have to leave because your wife is bugging you to take out the trash? I've never played an online FPS before Titanfall so I'm trying to learn the ropes. Thanks
I always appreciate a few words from the person leaving. It helps with decisions on whether to replace that person or try to get them back into the party.

I tried to play titanfall, and just didn't lik it. So it went away. Which was to bad. I had high hopes for the game. Oh well, on to Watch Dogs, and some other games.
