I'm actually picking Destiny up for the PS4 and the Xbox 1 (didn't realize how many of you guys ended up going Xbox 1), and as to how many people are going to play it on Sony's console; you may want to check on the Playstation Clans; either way I have plenty of friends to play the game with on either console.
There's a really great article on Destiny in the last issue of Game Informer Magazine, that really explains Bungie's 10 year plan for the game; I do believe there will be a Destiny 2, and hey maybe Destiny 3, unless Bungie really plans on releasing a lot of DLC, or continuing to update the game's online world daily??
Also can't wait for TitanFall, I like BF4, but damnit, I wasn't too impressed that the game erased all my save data a couple days ago, so I'll be starting from scratch again (I have that one on the PS4), and yeah before you guys start razzing ole Garfy, yes I bought the Collector's Edition of TitanFall, what can I say; I'm a sucker for cool shit !!! (LOL)

PS - I am reading that Sony is in trouble, after googling it ( after seeing it here) - but to me it sounds like alot of "sky is falling" hype. Sony is huge. Massive. And they do alot more than games or tv's. I just don't think they're going to fail. Most of the "on noes!" articles were from 2012 or 2013 as well. Just sayin'...
After watching the vid, I am in a solid meh stage. Very ambivalent feelings towards the game right now. Not caring to even be in the Beta.
When I first saw TITANFALL, I became very excited to play it. A year later, that excitement is still in me a month and a half after launch. I don't have that same excitement for Destiny.
Destiny looks gorgeous and I'm 95% (down from 100%) sure I'll buy it, but I'm far less sure it'll hold my attention for very long. Maybe it'll be like poorly fitted clothing that has to be worn in before you can really enjoy it.

However, I also get that the video really doesn't give us any kind of sense as to what Destiny is really all about, so I'm not too discouraged.
I am excited to play in the Beta - should be epic. The only real question for me is do I play on 360 or go ahead with my plan to upgrade to XB1 so I can try it on the new console. My overall plan is to have the XB1 for Destiny.

I'm not basing all of my opinion off that one video. It's the latest in a chain of media release that has caused me to be less interested than previously. To be clear, I've been less than optimistic since E3 2013.
It's a gorgeous game and probably will work perfectly. It just may not be a perfect fit for me . I was never interested in Borderlands either.
I like Borderlands, but I tire of it after awhile. And since it must have a story and and ending, there better be good MP competitive or it'll be over quick.
Being a fan of FPSs, RPGs, action games, and a recovering MMO player, this game seems to be right in my wheelhouse. I can't wait!!!

I'm already gaming more than I should so something will have to give. Maybe a new Halo will be out by then. Hopefully before. I'll probably get Destiny but I don't intend to just dump Thursday night Halo for it if people are still showing up.

I'm really looking forward to DESTINY, I need to pre-order, probably for the 360, as xbone is an investment I may not make for some time yet.
Yeah i am excited for this. This and titanfall are my two tops games to watch for next year so far.
