I quit.

Getting wrecked continually by Wilhelm and his endless supply of disposable minions isn't fun any more.  Yes, I know the game is co-op centered, but when you don't have 538 Mb of space to store yet another compatibility pack and you don't have the resources to get another HD, well, you're effectively painted into a corner and stripped of most of your cash especially when none of your friends are on at the same time as you.

Tired of beating my head against the wall, so I'm done.

That won't cause any troubles?  I thought the packs were items you needed to have in case one of your friends had advanced farther than you, or had done the DLCs when you hadn't?

Anywho, I deleted the old ones and managed to stay online long enough to DL the most current...

...and then Wilhelm jumped to a part of the map where he just froze there and allowed me to dissolve him away with Corrosive Teapot.  EVERY OTHER TIME he would jump back behind the train car and spawn new Surveyors...go figure.

Hey Mushroom,  borderlandswiki will give you info on where to find legendary weapons.  Search the word legendary once you are there.

You will find for example that the HORNET pistol drops from the first world boss in the game (Knuckle dragger).  The hornet is one of the best pistols in the game IMO, especially on robots.

grinding for these weapons will help you solo a great many things.  If you level up,  grind for a new one.

to grind Knuckle dragger,  get to save/fast travel at clap traps hide out at the beginning of the game.  Run to knuckle dagger, kill, no gun?.....hit guide button on controller, press Y, go home.   Reload game......wash, rinse, repeat.   I did this 5 to 10 times at the beginning of every session until I got that gun......it is the shiniz nit!!!!

Well, I bit the bullet (so to speak) and took Ded's advice on farming for a Hornet.  Finally got one to drop, but since my Zero is 45 and the weapon is 33, it's actually not too useful.  Kinda wondering why about that.  Plus it's a Twin Hornet and it eats ammo like it was popcorn!

Enemies and their weapon drops don't scale with you until UVHM.

Do you have Tina Tina's Teapot from "You are Cordially Invited"?

Yep, got Corrosive Teapot.  Works a treat against EXP Loaders and such.  Not so well against Angelic Guards....Currently my go-to robot killer is a Bandit SMG of all things.  Enough accuracy I can go for blowing off robot arms or landing criticals on the glowing red eye, and something like 2200 damage.

Another great weapon is the Double Penetrating Unkemt  Harold.  You need the badass crater DLC for this one.  This  pistol is in the vending machines....keep checking machines until the Double Penetrating version shows up.   Also,  to grind for tokens,  go to the bar where pyro Pete is (I forget the name), at the entrance to the bar is a repeatable mission where tokens are the reward.

And the Hoenet I liked, is the React hornet.  Don't remember why.....just fit my style and fired well I think...?

on the grenade front.....I liked the singularly type grenade.....pulls all bad guys in range together then blows up....great for crowd control when playing alone.  I don't  remember the legendary one that has that effect.  I used the purple grade until I got the legendary grade.

smg,  the baby maker was my first favorite.  It can be dropped from Mademe VanBartlesby. (I think that name is right).  She is the bug that tiny Tina  has you kill during her mission line.  To get to

the bug in question,  fast travel to the tiny Tina area, stay left, hug wall all the way up and around to VanBartlesby.

I usually bum rush Wilhelm and unload on him with corrosive weapons and corrosive grenades. He seems to get confused by a frontal attack -- at least he did for me. He's a pain at times too. I tried to do the hang-back strategy in the little tunnel, but the surveyors with their reflective shields gave me a headache.
