Hahhahah....I got hacked twice last night while playing the single player.First guy got away with 150.00 but I was able to chase me away....about an hour later I got hacked again.....I found this guy much quicker and was able to shoot him dead before he could hack anything...Now how cool was that shit!!!!
I picked this up for the PS4, and either I'm getting really good at the online components of the game; or I'm just a favorite target to come after??? today alone there were five bounties placed upon my head (LOL) and some people were able to hack and steal stuff from me, but a lot of others ended up getting a cap in their ass fairly quickly (if your going to go after someone, don't be so close of make it that obvious)
I've done a few missions of the overall campaign, but basically roaming around and doing little side quests; and earning new skill points (sat around with 20 to spend, but had to go up a level first, then I went nuts); hell I completely forgot about all the Uplay points that I had left over from playing AC4: BlackFlag, so I went out and bought the Stealth Car, using it and some Jam Comms, has gotten me out of a few tight messes.
As for graphic comparisons, I honestly thought the PS4 and Xbox 1 versions are pretty identical (maybe a few minor improvements for Sony's console, but so what!!), and both consoles in my opinion looked better than the PC's; all I can say is the game is a lot of fun, the driving mechanics aren't the greatest, but you eventually get a grip (plus make sure to put points into your driving skills)
As for tips, I would say the most important skills to spend your points on are FOCUS (when you can slow down time to make your shots count it comes in handy), definitely increasing your PROFILING SKILL, the more advanced you raise it, the more detailed information comes in about any person you scan, as well as detecting hidden files on say a laptop, etc. I made sure to increase my resistance to both bullets and explosions, and placed points into the usual HACKING SKILLS, such as playing around with traffic lights, raising/lowering bridges, etc.
CRAFTING to me is essential to performing missions entirely in stealth, and I love using IEDS on convoys that I have to take out ( I just set up way ahead and lay them down ) and such gadgets as noise makers or causing a full scale blackout are nice to have. Also the amount of hiden stuff throughout the game such as hunting down a serial killer, or seeking out a master hacker, etc; should keep anyone occupied for a long time.
Okay I'm a little confused as to deal with online hackers, most of the time I am able to locate and deal with a threat; however there have been a few times where someone is hacking me, and I have literally walked by them and even with Jammers and Advanced cTOS Scans are unable to locate the culprit, so what's the deal??? why am I not detecting them with my phone???
Also I experienced severe lagging issues while doing a free roam mission this afternoon, everything was slowing down to almost a complete halt (I have the PS4 version); and as asked by some one else on this particular post, has anyone be able to group up with a bunch of friends for Decryption or Free Roaming online missions????
Yeah I did that tactic a few times last night (LOL); one guy was in the first car I decided to blow up for shits & giggles. But last night I'm really starting to use cameras a hell lot more if possible to search for a hacker (was able to zero in on three people that invaded my game). Ended up earning a silenced SMG as a reward, which will come in handy. :)
So not sure if it was a good deal or not, but I just bought the Limited Edition for a total price (cost and taxes) of $92 off of amazon, I have Prime so get the free two day shipping. This game looks like something that I would really enjoy playing. I just have to wait to play it, I'm still offshore, projected receive date is the 28th, so it should be waiting for me when I get back.
Edit: Got the price wrong and I got it for the PS4.
I wanted to get it, but lack the funds. Hoping to at least rent it this weekend.
Picked it up for the PS4. So far I really like it. I get so distracted doing the side stuff it may take me all summer to finish it.....
I'm quite enjoying it. I don't understand some of the hate this game is getting. The Xbox One copy, on Metacritic, only has a 5.3 user rating??

The driving is just fine to me. Actually seems a little more realistic than GTA's, you can't fly around a corner at full throttle doing top speed.

Here's how I deal with hackers: grenade launcher. Grenade the living shit out of everything in the area and they will eventually start running.
