@ church drop the 500gb ssd for a smaller one just to put your OS on for faster booting asides from that it has no impact on gaming and put the cash towards a gtx 77o 2gb.....4 gb version if your running multi screens.

@grim Pcars will have full support for Fanatec, thrustmaster and logitech.......tho it wont have 1500 duplicate cars like gt6 it will be racing based and no grocery getter upgrade cars and from what ive been testing of late its light yrs ahead of gt6!!!! ill be running it on pc but if enough people get it i might look into a ps4 to run Pcars and GT7

Snappy...You should create a iRacing Forum here next to GT and Forza....Maybe stir up some interest here.... Hope you stay there longer than you stayed at GT.

I missed this post until this morning.  I am not surprised that Snappy made the jump to iRacing, and I agree with him that folks like Grim will find iRacing to be quite enjoyable.  Wheels, you also would like iRacing from the competition vantage point, as you are very competitive.  Getting it set up is relatively easy, you just need a PC that has a decent amount of oomth so that you can get decent graphics.  Snappy is absolutely correct about the expense, it does not need to be expensive if you start with the base content and then plan from there.  Or, you could be stupid like me and just buy everything right away.    The sad reality is that the Xbox 360 (8 1/2 years old) and PS3 (7 1/2 years old) are getting very old, too old for many of us, and so that means that many of us are moving on to newer platforms, including PC, Xbox One and PS4.  I have read too many comments on 2Old4Forza, including comments directed towards Snappy earlier in this thread and in other threads, about "quitting" platforms.  I completely disagree with that, what many of us have done is to move on to newer, better and more enjoyable games.  Is there something wrong with that?  Was I supposed to stick with Forza 1 and never upgrade to the 360 and Forza 2-4?

"quitting platforms" or "moving onto newer, better games" means the exact same thing to Parcells. The only difference being perspective and/or semantics.

3G's...Three More Months And I Will Bring It Up Again....MIss The Snappy!!

I've moved on/up from the 360 to the XBOne. Took over a year, didn't rush into it and turthfully, while I still had the 360, didn't look much at it in the mean time. Been on the PC a bunch, newer box, and somehow my amazing wife found a way to get me the new box last weekend.

So,If anyone out there is using the XBoner, I'm going to be on more.

I am doing well, as is the family.  My wife is due on January 7 and so we are on official baby watch.  Kids are excited for Christmas, both of them want Super Smash Bros. for our Wii U and some Amibos.  I bought myself a Playstation 4 for Christmas and last night I downloaded my first racing game for it, Driveclub.  I think it is different than any racing game I have ever played.  As far as sim racing, on the PC I am spending my usual time with iRacing, but have also been spending a lot of time playing The Crew.  Just made my first trip to Miami last night, it was very hot and humid.  On Xbox One, I continue to play a lot of Forza 5 and more recently, Forza Horizon 2, including the new expansion, Storm Island.  And last, but not least, I continue to get in more than my fair share of triple screen GT6 action.  That game continues to hold my interest, even though it is last gen and was released over a year ago.  Polyphony Digital has done a good job of updating the game, both GT5 and now GT6 have gotten substantial updates well over a year after release.  Too bad Turn 10 doesn't do that with the Forza games.

Congrats on the new bundle of joy you all are expecting! Hope all goes well and what a New Year it will be!

If you really feel bad about it feel free to pick a race this Thursday night and smash the hell out of my car pretending I'm Snappy but please leave this poor guy alone.
