2o2r BF4 Server
I rented a BF4 server today. You can search for it in the in-game browser with the name "Hot Ham & Cheese".
For whatever reason it doesn't show up in the Battlelog browser yet. I suspect that will change once they finish rolling out the server updates today or tomorrow.
I can add people to "VIP" slots to give priority access if the server is full. Let me know if you want me to add you.
The server is running a mix of Conquest Large and Carrier Assault Large.
Do I have any power to change up the playlist?
You're an admin, I think so...but not positive.
If not, tell me what you want and I'll change it...NO METRO!!!!!!
I'm going to try again to get on BF4 tonight but we're supposed to have some hellacious thunderstorms and a tornado watch all night, just like last night.
Holler at me during the day and I can set the rotation if you can't.

Small platoon and we've never had more than 3 on a server at once so we never get credit for matches.

Might I suggest some conquest/rush/carrier assault in a mix of maps if possible. I didn't see any way to change any settings last night and I was the only dude on the server.
Conquest maps anything but the dam (laggy last time I played), rush a mix of maps (metro/jail break a must) and the assualt is naval strike of course (any map).

I'll probably be online tonight as well, but I'm on PST so I don't know if that will work for you guys. I also applied to join the 2o2r platoon. I'm all for doing a mix of gametypes, I've always been a proponent of being a well-rounded player. I also have no class/weapon preferences, I try to use whatever class the squad needs at any given time.
When we play, we usually play until 12/12:30 EST so you might catch us.
Do I need premium to play on the server? I've been playing more BF4 lately and quite frankly, I suck. It would be nice to play with people and not get yelled at.
You don't need Premium but we don have some DLC maps on it.

Dice must have screwed something up again. I don't see the controls to change/admin the server any more. Checking the forums, it seems to have affected a lot of folks.
I haven't been able to connect to any servers. Is anyone else having this issue?
Yea I can't even see my server at the moment to make changes. The option I had last night is gone. Also having trouble loading chat and friends list. Wonder of this is because of PS update?
I added both the servers but don't have all of the maps in rotation. I'll try to get on one of these nights.
Mine is set to TDM vanilla maps right now, so you should be able to join. I'm surprised it stays pretty full
I flipped ours to stock Rush and we get some traffic to it now. The difference seemd to be "Ranked" vs. "Official" server.
Ranked is if you do not change the game settings, but change the map rotation. You can't mix gametypes, either.
Official is if you use a stock map rotation and stock game settings. Stock map rotations can be for any DLC or the standard game, but you can't mix standard maps with DLC maps.
People can do a "quick start" or "quick launch" game...whatever that is called...and can get placed in your Official server. If you have a Ranked server, the only way people can join that is to search/join or join with a friend.
