question for those who played the demo
how much is this game like Halo?
I ask because I suck at halo and always hated it. i dont want to waste 60 bucks if its just going to play like halo. but if its a totally new setup then maybe i wont suck. i wish id had the chance to play the demo but i missed it.
Well, its an FPS, if that's what you're asking. Its an FPS, made by Bungie, who made Halo. It handles very much like the Halo games, but in a Borderlands world. It seems like accuracy does matter in this game, like Halo, with headshots being critical shots.
Is that a start?
It is like Halo. Its also like Mass Effect. But even if you suck at pvp, there is a lot of content here to do outside of pvp.
Ive never rented a game, but I know it is possible to do so. Might be worth a shot.
ok thanks, if its got some borderlands maybe itll be good. I have it on my gamefly list but they always take too long, i think i am done with gamefly
Aside from the game having a weapon similar to the DMR and a handful of maps with vehicles it's got nothing to do with Halo at all. The PvP mostly involves running around corners with your shotgun that you spawn with or spraying away with your assault rifle, like CoD. The campaign portion is mostly like Borderlands but with half the weapon variety.

I agree with all that is said above. when someone askedme about it i said, "it feels like Bungie made it but it is NOT Halo"
I think of it as Halo-ish.
