That spot spawns about as frequently as everything else if you ask me. When enemies are part of a another players mission I wonder if it forces a respawn of appropriate enemies. I go to that spot for some of the patrol missions or Valley of Kings
FYI, Ishtar University and adjoing areas are very good farming areas for 'real men'. Lots of Fallen and Vex but you actually have to move and aim and select Elemental weapons. Sometimes these areas literally surge with enemies.

THanks. The place on Venus where you go into cave to reach the Ketch is really good too. Real enemies, lots of spirit bloom and 5-6 chest locations.

Cough, excuse my poor description. Yes, those areas linked to the crashed Ketch. They are all sort of good since the Fallen and Vex are beating on each other and spawning at similar times.

So what farming areas do you go to then... zing!
Oh shit! Damn these fingers.
My spelling, grammar and sentence structure have gone so far downhill in the last few years.
I use doctor nope in pve and pvp almost exclusively. Yes it has recoil compared to the shingen but once it's upgraded and you know how to handle the recoil it shreds through dudes. For some reason I do way better with it with the acog scope in it. Helps me manage it. Aim for chest, ride to head and the they are dead.

I noticed there are at least two different Dr Nope's. The one I got as a reward does not have a stability upgrade. The one I could buy does have a slight upgrade option. One of my shingen's has an almost full stability bar.

I think it works this way: The item you can buy from the vendor is the same for everyone. The weapons/armor you get as drops have random mods.
I got a "Bronzed Miyamoto" bullet hose AR from the crucible with a "fitted stock" (or something similar) mod that gives added stability. I am slowly getting the hang of headshots with it. It is making me think the Dr. Nope or Unwilling Soul 09 are viable options.
I have also learned the hard way that mods are really the most important thing on weapons for the crucible - (at least until Iron Banner comes out) - because everything is normalized. I really regret that I sharded a level 16 green shotgun drop that 5 shots and the "full auto" mod. It was a graviton and I thought I could just buy another higher level one at the vendor later. I havent seen one yet.

So true and this is why it may be worth looking at perks and leveling on rare weapons and armor (don't forget the same can apply to your armor). I have Crucible specific gear and weapons with specific perks and cooldowns that I don't really run in PvE.
I got my first exotic the other day. A crucible drop called "Truth" - rocket launcher. It is awesome. Has the "Horseshoes and Handgrenades" perk which is a "will explode when rocket is in proximity to target." So good for someone with suck aim. Also has "will agressively track target" perk, but I havent unlocked it yet.
On pulse rifles, I have found them lackluster so far for pvp. I have a crucible purple called "Fair and Square" which has ok range and the heavy caliber rounds perk, but I just dont like it much. Last night I got a blue "Suros - JPS55." It is amazing. Its the closest thing to a BR from Halo that I have found so far. It has a full auto perk, but I never use it. Its ROF and stability are really high, and it has a stability perk "Fitted Stock" coming up later in the tree too.
Ive been sharding crucible blues immediately - but I wont do that anymore. They seem much more tuned to pvp. I've noticed that I have been getting killed a lot by a "Silvered Hushwind" AR too, which I had but sharded. I wont be doing that anymore until I actually test the weapon first. It was just accidental that I used the Suros last night - I forgot to unequip and shard it after comparing stats.
So I got a silvered Hushwind last night, and I like it more than the Shingen. It has the 'fitted stock' mod and once you unlock that it is almost a full stability bar. Pretty beastly.
The Suros JPS55 Pulse Rifle is still my current favorite.

What about that big swirly thing on Mars? Vex sure come out of there alot.

So, two more gear notes:
