i ran 10 laps at bathurst and 20 at indy 20% and 25% tyre wear, i also built a couple of the muscle cars not tried them yet i suppose we could do sebring for track night

Not too sure on build for Muscle cars yet as need to try to balance them out a bit but will be fairly basic classic muscle roll cage, no aero, super charger, sport tires, Race brakes or something like that but i need to test them. The buick is the highest class so that will have very little added to it and the rest bought up to its level
I have taken the liberty to sign up everyone who has posted so far (except for JADAN) and we have 9 drivers so far so lets get the word out to people and see if we can get that number up to an even 12.
Start talking with your peers and see if we can get some of you to pair off into teams for this series as I reckon it will be good fun to get some real competition going into this :)
This is the preliminary date as there will also be the Lotus Exige cup on FM4 I know some people are still on there as well so as long as I get the nod from Thane and DSeeker. I dont want to lose out on drivers due to another series.
Sign me up, but I am worried about running with damage on. I have never run a race with damage on and I would not feel good if I wrecked somebody. I try to race clean, but accidents happen.

Crashes happen and in a long series like this it wont make too much of a difference. besieds after a while we all get spreadout so i wouldnt worry. Give yourself a challenge. You'lll do fine :)
Also Gents i have opened the Sheet up for editing. Please start Pairing off into teams if you wish. If you want to remain a Privateer and go it alone please put privateer in the Team box.
Only one week to go not seeing many teams guys if you want to get a team together or join an already established one, there isnt much time left sos get in touch with other racers!
I'm having trouble getting into high 38s. I'm stuck at about 39.15. I've ran high 38s using DL tune but cannot replicate in my own tune. Anyone in 38s willing to help?

The first time I try a oval track, there is very litle room to play with :)
I think more people will have some problems to get into the high 38s.
I am still .2 seconds away witch is huge on a oval.
I hope when I can steady run low 39 and avoid the WALL all will be O.K. :)
Guys dont worry about lap times its how far you travel keep steady and out the wall youll do fine.
I dont know what times im doing but i know with about 6 stops I managed 502 miles in 2:30 and that was becasue i kept hitting walls and other cars.
Don't forget you're not alone out there and will end up seeing traffic a lot its a short track and will test your passing ability and your drafting technique.

I am not experianced in tuning.
For the oval you have to have a high topspeed.
That means low downforce setting, where you can still manage to avoid the wals.
My experiance is I can eliminate back down force but front down force has a huge effect on managing the corners.
In fact with around 190 front downforce I can drive with no problem all the way flat out.
Running close to my lap record ghost.
When going for lap record I could go lower but running for longer time I think I am better of on the safe side.
Question. Coming out of the pits, where do we join back onto the racetrack? I would have thought it would be on the back straight but I keep hitting what feels like sticky grass on the access road for turn 2. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Am I doing this wrong? Help. If we join back on the track between turn 1 and 2 we will be about 15 mph slower than race traffic. I just don't want to be THAT guy.

It's been a while. derekthetree convinced me to be his mate. Will oblige.
(When's 1967 F1 endurance race in this schedule?)
will be second sunday of December (14th by my calender)
I said that in jest, hoping for addition of 1967 F1 (Brabham and Lotus 49) race, in addition to the 1976 Ferrari/McLaren.
I would say yes but they need to be tested and are DLC which I dont yet have but we can look into it so watch this space
Car pass is discounted this week in case you were waiting for a price drop
I'm OK with the Exige series taking another break but I think DSeeker should chime in. He's the main man. I'm helping out here and there.
Like i said in the original post it will only take place if any conficting series host is ok with postponing otherwise a new date will be announced

Disconnected, gutted but probably for the best can someone let me know the distances for each driver and thanks for putting up with my slow ass car.
