So, we had three dudes doing stuff on the Moon when I see this guy's Gamertag. "Huh. It looks familiar." Sure enough, it randomly put us on the same server, and in the same neighborhood, so although we weren't in the Fireteam, we were all patrolling around and picking up loot together. That's the one small jump that I wish we could make in this game: the ability to see a server populated (or a higher chance, at least) with random folks from your friends list that also happen to be in the same area at the same time. If both sides check a box, it should also put you in the same team in matchmaking, too.
That would be very cool. The adding people and communicating needs some tweaks in this game. Halo was really easy to get groups together and I didnt have as many problems with dropping people or messed audio of certain people added.

I got lucky with my exotic engram and it actually rolled for my class. I was hesitant about wasting motes, but figured "why not?"
Finally an instance in this game where I wasn't disappointed with the loot system. Again, though, I know I got lucky.
I do like the Light Beyond Nemesis helm for Warlock. I got it last week from the Exotic engram and it's especially good for PvE. I do switch it out when I play Crucible, but it's a nice helm.
I've also seen Truth in action and those rockets will chase you down!

The enemy tracking for Truth works pretty well, especially at a distance. I know I've been blased by it in Crucible when I thougt I was out of line-of-sight.
The only other thing I know you can use Motes for is buying fancy stuff from the Speaker. That's all I know of at the moment.

Truth is excellent for pvp. Better than Gjallhorn I think because of the tracking and horseshoes and handgrenades perk. You just have to get the rocket near someone and it will blow up and kill them. Very very good. If you dont pvp and already have Gjallhorn for pve, I wouldnt waste your money on it.
I've used it in both PVP and PVE. I really like it. The lock on only takes a split second so you can get shots off quickly. You can take the shields off a pair of minotaurs in VOG or take down that sniper form across the map with ease. It's serious about aggressively seeks. The rocket can be long out of line of site and the kill will pop up. Great weapon.

I bought Truth with only very mild regret, as I have an already fully upgraded void rocket launcher that also has a proximity fuse. I'll give it a whirl and see how it treats me. I also bought a chestplate engram and rolled a Crest of Alpha Lupi. I have an exotic Titan chestplate with the same name, and thought I rolled a double, but it turns out its for a Hunter. I figured that out after I bought another chest engram and hit an exotic chestplate for a Warlock.
Future Titan and Future Warlock are totally set on gear, by the way.
Xur would wait till I have enough coin to have crappy shit. Tha Warlock helmet has nice stats,but I really dont wanna walk around looking like Big Cheif Zombie,no feathers for me.

Last Word or Hard Light. I'd be tempted by Red Death or Suros Regime, but Suros Regime annoys me and I pray it gets nerfed immediately. I'd also buy Icebreaker, because I have now seen its usefulness in pve, but again I feel as if it will be nerfed soon.

I was really hoping for The Last Word too, but settled for the Suros since I missed it last time it was offered. I do like the Voidfang chest for Warlock - it's what I switch out to when I play Crucible. The spawn with grenade perk is very useful for people like me that die a lot...lol
My aim is terrible. As good as hand guns can be, a missed shot is a huge loss. I need weapons that are forgiving for missed shots.
I just got the "Super Good Advice" HMG. I'm gonna luv it. About halfway through the powerups it has a bubble that says it "returns most missed shots to the magazine". Perfect for spray & pray.

I haven't pulled the trigger on Truth yet. I'll never use it because I'll want an exotic primary or secondary first. The homing sounds cool though.

I bought the Titan chest piece. Looks a lot better then the other one he sold. Stats are about the same as well.
