Does anyone know why it takes so long for some people to get their achievements in Destiny? Some times I'll go for weeks and then all of a sudden I'll get 3 or 4 all at the same time. Some of you were talking about it last night before I left the party.

I don't know why it happens, but if you sign out your gamer tag and then sign back on, your cheevos should pop.

Not for me, sometimes it will take weeks for me to get mine and its just Destiny that does it. All other Xbox One games were pretty much instant.

We did, it was a pretty good run, I had a lot of fun. Do you get limited loot/rewards for re-running the raid on the same week?
No. Only if you run it hard mode. You can get no more loot from a normal run unless you do it on another character.
I am glad you guys finished last night. I just missed you. Someone asked for help on Atheon and SWORE it would take six minutes and fifty-five seconds (that was the exact quote they gave me). We never beat him. :)
I did level up my Hunter more. Im high 27 now. Can you hit 28 with 3 completely upgraded legendary (non-raid) and one upgraded exotic? Or do you have to have a piece of raid gear to hit 28?
I hit 28 with an exotic helmet from our and 3 regular legendaries. At least 2 of the legendaries were not fully upgraded.
I'm up for more raid runs next week then. I think I'll stick to normal only for now.
You can actually hit 28 with all legendary armor that are maxed out. Took an Exotic Chest piece to get to 29. That is with the Titan, not sure about the others, but I am on the way up with those.
Yea you can hit 29 with no raid gear and 1 exotic ... wishfull thinking to get all 3 raid gear ... I have yet to see all 3 different with 1 exotic. Best case is my warloc; 2 raid gear (actually got the same 2 peices again on hard raid this week ... sigh). ... that's a lie my hunter has 2 and the exotic helm but hunters are WEAK (compaired to both my titan and warlock)
Big note: Raid helmet is only dropped (low drop too) in HARD raid; so equip an exotic helm to nullify that issue or get up to min 29 and hard raid (and IT IS HARD on 29 ... 30s prefered but you need the damn gear!)
I just really wish I would stop getting chatterwhite shadder (I have 10+) ... next raid I run I am filling all my colour shadders to see if it won't give it to me again lol.

You just killed me with this tiny bit of info. I purchased the exotic chest piece that let's me carry two grenades as I was waiting to get the raid head piece....

No, right now I have one exotic, two raid and one legendary and cant make it with them all maxed out.

I dont remember who it was, but someone said in the raid the other night they have the raid helmet and have never done it on hard. I think it does drop - its just a really low chance.
My warlock is 30 with exotic helmet and three raid armor pieces - you need 120 light to get to level 30, exotics and raid gear have a max light of 30 each. Legendary armor maxes out at 27 light, so 4 of those would be 108 light, which is either right at or just under 29.
I can confirm that every one I've ever seen get the raid helmet has been after beating Atheon on Hard (including my Titan). I can also confirm that the raid boots are the rarest of all drops, and may not even exist for either the Titan or the Hunter.
I got the raid boots for my Warlock the very first time through. Been through 3 more times, and not another piece of raid armor. Altogether, I have gotten four different guns though and as many shaders.
Still waiting on my clan tag achievement and since that was my first time playing it all the way through I should get the raider achievement as well.... Still waiting for both.
I did a Google search this morning and found a fix for the problem that worked! Using the Destiny ingame settings log out and then log back in. It worked like a charm. Don't know why that worked when I even did hard resets by unplugging the Xbox One and letting it set for a few minutes before plugging back in.

I never even noticed you could sign out or switch characters in game, I was always going out to the main menu to do stuff until I Google it.

I'd like to collect the other 3 raid pieces as well. Someday I'd like a Vex Mythoclast, but that's just crazy talk...
