I have had no less than 3-5 updates since the last heralded one from Bungie. Each one is 76.87MB. It's probably the same one repeating.
Has it been happening to you too?
Had this 76 mb update yesterday on xb1, and then again just now when logging in. Apparently the fix is to clear the cache. If this happens again I will try that and report back...
Additionally, we’re aware of an issue where Xbox One players have to re-download a patch every time they play Destiny. We have a few solutions to this problem:
Use a wired connection when patching
Attempt to clear your cache
Uninstall and re-install the game
If this does not resolve the issue, please know that we are investigating. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
I've seen a few slightly different descriptions of doing this - some say unplug console and wait 1 minute, others say wait for 5.
I shut down my One, unplugged it and waited 5 minutes, then just to be sure turned it back on, then held down the power button until it restarted again.

...going to try this today. Had to update Destiny again yesterday.
Xbox really needs to fix these software issues. I know it's not the games because I had similar issues just trying to log into my console or connect to my wired internet. So flustration and reason I ditched my Xbone.

Isn't that Bungie's deal, to fix their software? Or are you talking about the Xbone's native software?

Xbone. The issue has to be on there end since hard reset's fixes just about everything on the damn console.
Sat through a Destiny update last night - 12-15-14. Hope it was a new one. If it wasn't then hard-resetting doesn't fix the problem either (I do a hard reset whenever I switch the port forward on the router from the 360's IP to the XB1's IP.)
Not here
Nope. Only ones I get are the announced patches.
Damn.
Deep, I have been getting the same update randomly since the official update. I didn't notice it last night.
Game still played the same, so I didn't get to worried.
I've gotten it a couple of times, but not since early last week.
I've gotten the same update a couple more times.
So my situation is not unique. Good to know.
Had another update today. Only 1 mb.
Hopefully, the DLC will fix that.
Had that one too, in fact it happened so fast I was uncertain how big it was lol
I read about that one. It was for tomorrow's launch.

So far, I haven't had any more updates since the DLC. <fingers crossed>
Bungie posted this in weekly update:
Thanks.
Just saw it too.
Nice to know I'm not seeing things.
Problem seems to have gone away for me after clearing the cache
Just happened again last night for me.
Memory refresh, clearing cash is just a hard shutdown?

Yup, basically a hard shutdown. See http://www.bungie.net/sr/Forum/Post/75592639/0/0/1
