flippin nightingale error!
I haven't been able to get into destiny since weekly update. Keep getting nightingale. Did all the suggested things on bungie website: uninstall.reinstall.unplug console for 10 min. Delete temp cache. Still f@#&Ed up! Anyone have this issue. Really think servers are not up to full task of demand so they roll through different players w horseshit animal name errors to limit demand. But again switch up the people so the games not totally unplayable. Not to doubt the credibility on bungie forum tips does anyone here have any tips to fix. MCC has worked fine BTW.
3 days destiny not working still!
I'm sorry to hear that. The first time I tried logging in after a long time away I got the Marionberry error, but none since.
Is it 360 or XB1? You could try uninstalling, clearing your alternate mac address, and reinstalling. Some people said they had to factory reset their xbox.
One other thing, is it digital copy or disc? If it's disc, it could be a problem reading a particular sector from the disc. Maybe the disc needs cleaning?
Hope you get it resolved.
I went with setting up a DMZ on my router with a static IP on the XBone assigned to the DMZ. Port Forwarding didn't work well on my router, cheap router/modem combo from my ISP, and UPnP was a no-go. DMZ seems to work better, except I can only set one IP address to the DMZ.
Clearing this MAC address likely won't solve it but you'd go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings. Find Alternate mac address select it and select Clear.
Another possibility is that the stuff you downloaded is getting corrupted in transit. Unlikely, but you could reboot your router to be sure there isn't some weirdness there. If MCC is working though this is highly unlikely.
I'd recommend looking at the disc/cleaning the disc. Bungie seems to suggest it's related to hardware, which could mean anything from memory corruption to an issue with the disc drive reading the game.
Worst case, and this really is a bad case, factory reset the XB1.
Xbox one software still leaves much to be desired.
You could take your xbox to another location with net access. If it all works there, you've eliminated the X1 and your copy of the game as the cause.
If his X1 works at another location but not at home, how is that his game? Sounds more like a network issue.
That was weird. I didn't have any problems. In fact, my connection to Destiny has be relatively stable since the launch of the expansion (knock on wood). Hopefully it will be working for you tonight.
