You're right, Knight. I tend to freak out and curl up in a ball. I'm almost treating it like a vacation! I'm relaxing, going to lunch with mom, reading. :D
As for weather, we have the a/c on because its in the 80s this week. Ahem...
The CW network has a new series premiering on March 17 named “iZombie” about a Zombie “lady” who helps the police solve crimes by having psychic visions when she eats brains. I almost spit my coffee when I saw the trailer. Can’t make this up:
Oh dear...I am a one for that kind of thing Mrs Knight and myself have just gone through the entire Angel Box set and as I type am just about to revisit the entire Buffy Box set, so while given that this may seem an odd thing to say, but that just looks silly...I may add when I say box set I mean DVD's in a box, not that odd interpritation that TV stations and digital networks use.
Knight, I did Buffy through Netflix, Angel's next on the list. So I can relate to the slanted tastes and it looks quite silly to me as well.
Ah! Yeah it is classic Joss Whedon, Some great character development the occasional WTF? episode, and mostly strong story line. I was not sure about the last series that never made TV, it started well then wandered a bit, but he pulled it back together in the end.

The last series?
Yes series seven, never shown on TV as they pulled out after series six which while it does tie up the story arc reasonably well leaves the characters and audience with unanswered questions. So series seven was made independently. Useful because they could tie back into the Buffy universe that they had to mostly keep clear of when Buffy moved to another network round about series four or five I think. It does end the story in what was, for me at least, a satisfying way. I didn't get to the end feeling cheated with the feeling that doors had been left open. While I guess Joss could pick it up again, I don't think he will, the ending was only just open ended, and I mean only just. Watch out for some great character twists that really show off the casts acting chops, nearly all of them go through dramatic changes of character over the life of the show with the final one for me being the best...I'm sure you know but don't watch any extras till the end, some really stupid spoilers in them...Of course I guess if your streaming them this doesn't apply. Oh and Angel's Irish accent sucks bless him.
So, Parcells works for an IT company and today I was sent an email requesting I fill out this anonymous on-line survey? Really? I’m an IT professional and you expect me to believe in an “anonymous” on-line survey? Especially when I had to log into my Companies Intranet with my personal ID and password just to get to this anonymous survey.
Part of me wants to not do the survey just to see if I get a followup email wondering when I’m going to complete this anonymous survey at which point I could respond…”how could you possibly know if this is an anonymous survey?”
Are there people on this planet who still believe in “anonymous” on-line surveys?
Saw that on network TV at the season's end. Maybe they did something different over seas?
As far as ending's go, I think the spirit was there, I liked it. The one I wish had gained some legs was the Firefly series. I was glad to see the Serenity movie come out later.
Maybe, I know during the extras there was mention of the network losing Buffy and she actually got killed off in Angel at one point, then in the last series was resurrected. Yup have what there is of Firefly on DVD too, including Serenity. It was a shame that never got given a chance. Now as we set off into Buffy I am pondering the next Box set...Thinking Deadwood a great show. That was one we stumbled on so never saw the start, and not sure we saw the end as things can start up run for a while and just get dropped, like Angel, series seven never made it to the small screen here. Funny it was Firefly started our love of box sets, then BSG and Babylon 5 for me the best of the Space operas. Off out to see Chappie tonight, hopefully the movie Johnny 5 should have been.
Buffy died at least twice. Maybe three times, not sure. Two for sure.
Yup but once in the Angel universe when they were told by the network she could no longer be mentioned as they no longer had the franchise and the powers that be objected to advertising a rival networks show, twas all in the extras on the DVD. That was why season seven had so many more connections back to the Buffy universe as they were independant and no longer had those restrictions placed on them. Amazing when you think about it how suits can have so much influence on story telling given it's a fair bet that anyone watching Angel would be watching Buffy and give not one jot what network either were on.
Spent my earlier years in retirement watching Buffy and Angel on TNT every morning. Also think BSG was great although it got a little supernatural at the end.
Speaking of watching a series missed, I was home recuperating years ago and got to catch up on all the Magnum PI episodes on cable, he was on 4 times a day...
...got to catch up on all the Magnum PI episodes...
That was some classic 80's programming. Canada(SCTV specifically) created its own spinoff called "Magnum PEI" which was also classic..."hey you kids get out of that potatoe patch!"
Yeah, try following the mess between Sony and Marvel, IE: Spider-Man/X-men/FF - Avengers/Thor/Iron man...but Spider-Man has been cleared to appear in the MarvelVerse last I heard....
Broadchurch, loved it. The emotional scenes/acting were unparalleled for TV. Accents made some dialogue difficult to follow but in many ways, it added to the quality.
The Americanised version of the first series was good but Broadchurch is my favorite.
We don't measure rain, we endure it...It can be soft, lashing, horizontal, mizzle, drizzle and so on...But one thing is sure...It's always wet.
Kat good on you, seeking the positive is a great step that I know is not instinctive to you.

We're back on the trending list again!
What are you talkin' 'bout Willis?
I was obviously not awake yet.....the 2o2r post caught me off guard.

God help us all. Serenity now!
Yeah, been there...
Last scene I remember is Angel heading off to fight a dragon? And it ended...
Ah well that is it, you have seen them all and my last post was pointless LOL Yup in a Buch Cassidy and Sundance Kid kind of ending :)
Saw that on network TV at the season's end. Maybe they did something different over seas?

BSG! I miss that one :(

Love Supernatural, still watching it....

Ever wonder what "forever" means?

I heart supernatural, there has only been one episode I didn't like and that was when they tried to do a spinoff. :P
Crowley is the best bad guy on T.V currently. Cept maybe his mum.
