Man, this is so complicated now. The simplest way to go for Project CARS is PC, since you can use pretty much any wheel you want. But, PC aside, if you go Xbox One, you are limited to the Thrustmaster TX wheel or the Fanatec CSW v1 or v2. If you go PS4, you can use many more wheels, including the Thrustmaster T500RS, Thrustmaster T300RS, Fanatec CSW v2 or v2 or the older generation Fanatec wheels, including the 911 Turbo S, 911 GT2, 911 GT3RS, CSR or CSR Elite.
@Oldschool - So sorry, I accidently posted this in the wrong thread and now I can't find the "edit" button. My bad. I guess I got to excited about the news.
Already have an Elite wheel that will work on the PS4 so pretty safe bet project cars will initially be a PS4 purchase.
Then I'll just wait it out for a Fanatec V2 base to become available (with available wheels for both consoles) and load up on that. I'm quite happy with my Fanatec products and love the pedals so much it would be difficult to go back to linear/non-pressure braking...that might sadden Parcells and no one wants that.
I never even tried them other than at Indy on the Oval. Shame T10 doesn't worl hard enough to provide some more ovals to race them on.
Yeah, try 'em at Long Beach...
There crap!
I love them, but like Snappy, wish there was more than one oval to race them on.
See, here's the problem, I found it.
I don't want to race on ovals and these cars suck anywhere not oval...
Fanatec Support on Xbone - thanks to Project CARS:

Simplifies it a lot for Parcells...
