Went for another regular winter walk today. Most sidewalks should be called siderinks. Solid ice, end to end. One metre and higher frozen banks line both sides. This snow has been here for two months at least. Looks quite old. Probably stay like this for another week, judging by the weather reports.
I try to be the gentleman and walk on the outside when on the streets but my wife shys away from slippery ice. So I suppose those voyeurs behind dark windows are judging me. Meh.
As we're mostly a buncha old farts, anyone ever use a concrete paver mold for a walkway or a patio before? Any wisdom to impart?
Looking at a 2'x2' irregular pattern for a walkway from the rear door around to the driveway and the vehicles. 2" thick I think, so pedestrian traffic only. briefly considered doing something for a bike pad as well, but as they are 800lbs or better, that's out.
Cut down on tracking in unwanted landscaping n such (have dogs, the such can be a pain).
If it works out well, might redo the walk to the front as well.
I saw this as well. Like all things M$ I have a wait and see attitude about this. I will probably upgrade my desktop and laptop to Windows 10 at some point, but probably just stick to console gaming. One benefit maybe is firing up the app on the laptop to see what everyone is playing, in more detail than XBOX.com now provides and using party chat between devices to communicate. That looks pretty neat. What I didn't see or maybe I missed is cross platform gaming to include the 360.
We have a channel that has Magnum on every day. Also shows Rockford Files and a bunch of other old shows. I think it's Metv. Magnum is on one of the Encore channels too. We are watching it RIGHT NOW!
Had my treatment yesterday. Told the doc and nurse about the schedule mess up. All of that stress and the lab didn't even do the tests needed. So the nurse had to draw blood before she could start my IV. Two other patients in my section of the chemo room had the same issue AND they had way too many patients scheduled for treatment at the same time. There were four people waiting for a chair when I left. That's NEVER happened in the few years I've been going there. Nurses were running into each other, etc, trying to keep up. Definite schedule screw up!
Hey Oldschool: I tried to add you on Xbox to drag you into halo once I'm back to playing, but Xbl said NO and couldn't find you. Do you have a gt different than the one listed on your bio thingy here?
Mine is TheZ0mbieKitten (the 0 in zombie is a zero). Any of y'all who wanna add me feel free!
Ha ha, That is as on topic as it can get Parcells...
In other news I crashed my Camera Drone the other day, one great way of chucking money down the drain...Though with the judicious use of a blow torch, some levers and a lot of wishful thinking I got her back to airworthy, so though one of the prop arms is looking a little worse for wear if you look too closely, she flies true. Lucky for me the camera and motorized gimble were more or less unscathed just needing re-calibration.
I had done so many trouble free flights I got a little cocky to be honest, just got too close to a tall tree and must have hit the wrong joystick and turned the craft instead of going into hard reverse. So a plummet from about thirty foot up was the result. Fortunately I had prop guards installed so though the one that hit the ground shattered it must have take some of momentum out. I had also invested in a Gimble protector thank goodness.
We had a solar eclipse that was a bit of a wash out, just caught a glimpse for about ten seconds through the clouds. Today the sun is shining and spring is in the air.
Definitely one of my DVR'ed shows.

DIY? Now that would be a first for this thread, no help here I'm afraid. Just seen the love spell episode, quite forgotten how funny it was.
Have you guys looked at this? I know it's from back in January but I hadn't seen it.

Doubtful that will happen. I don't see the support for it as everyone's looking more forward unfortunately.

As for weather, it's balls hot here again.
We have a channel here that plays nothing but hogans heros...not sure why...
Glad you were finally able to get thru it Kit. How ya feeling?
Ugh, another snowstorm coming Sunday.
Funny thing my wife and I noticed. A lot of American TV shows have real snow this year.
I'm sure that violates some union rule...
In other news, it's still raining...
Not too bad thanks Achy. The usual side effects, but not as bad as it has been in the past :)
