trolling noted, but seriously... truer words... honestly.
Essentially, I think this is caterering to a niche group of players, you know, the COD crew...
I'm actually torn on whether or not I want to get this, I'm hoping the other map previews (coming soon I expect) give me more of a taste of this DLC, small maps can be fun, and these will certainly cater to opening up the likely lesser played game modes (TDM, SQDM)
Right now, based on this map's gameplay preview, I'm seeing an overwhelming potential for LMG spamming through walls.
At the same time, I can see recon class being useful with the T-UGS motion sensor, but who knows with desctructive environments, T-UGS won't last long once planted.
If this is any more than $10 too I might pass on it. (who am I kidding, I'm a sucker for DLC, so I'll probably get it for the hell of it... Shut up! & take my money DICE.)
So far... Armored Kill and End Game are more entertaining ideas to me than CQC
Remind me to start honing in on my shotgun skills (if any is needed)....we're going to need it. Im not thrilled about this to be honest, not even sure if I'll get it. I was always under the impression that the fan base of BF games liked the vehicles/huge map style play. Vehicles and large maps is what sets BF apart from most of the other shooters. If I wanted close quarter Rambo matches, i'd buy MW.
I'll get it on one condition. Biznass has to play assault at all times and be in my squad. He can only have a defibulator.
I cringed a bit when I first saw this video. But, I'm cautiously optimistic that the guys at Dice know what they're doing. Personally though...I'd just like to see another sequal to the Bad Company series, the controls feel tighter, the damage and vehicles feel better etc etc.

I concur. BCB2 was a great multiplayer experience and the one shooter that drew me away from Gears, CoD, and Halo. I wish could still play Vietnam too!
DICE have openly stated that Bad Company isn't a dead franchise, it's just not going to an annual release... (not possible)
BF3 is their current project, and I figure it's going to be going for a while yet, considering the WiiU implementation is due to be dropped sometime between now and next year if I recall.
They've got themselves setup for the spring, summer and fall with the pending DLC releases, and of course any associated bugs/patches.
That being said... if anyone wants to play a throwback night on BC2, we can certainly get that going anytime.
Considering that for the past 3 weeks the USAS has accounted for 96% (approximation) of my deaths even on the bigger B2K maps, I'm really not looking forward to this. I was already considering taking a break from the game until they nerf it but if they don't nerf it before this DLC comes out, there's no way I'm getting it.
Unless a 'No Shotty' server pops up, then I might be in.
Battlefield of Duty looks awesome.
Definitely can't wait to play Overwatch on the Dice engine!
It looks like a lot of fun though. My kind of gametype, and map sizes.

Is there an addition to CoOp with this expansion?
I'll second this.
and I haven't heard anything about CoOp additions with this DLC, or the others for that matter.
lol, I look forward to adding to my 1600 revives!
At least 3/4 of that is attributed from my deaths.
Always!
I've been beasting in MW3 so i'll come back to BF3 and represent 2o2r when this drops. Should be fun, fast, and chaotic.
caos!
I'm in!
Looks fun. Won't replace the core game, but it will be a nice change of pace.
I'm really looking forward to the Armored Kill pack, here's hoping there are
some Harvest Day and Heavy Metal style maps in that one.

The big patch (including the USAS nerf) is rumored to hit within a week, as it just went through certification by Microsoft and Sony.
