Lotus Exige Cup Extravaganza!!!!!
Maybe not an extravaganza but unless this idea is a total flop, Parcells will be hosting a mini Lotus Cup challenge this Friday night (March 16). Details are below, if you’re interested please let me know. Will finish before the Friday night muscle car races. The winner gets their name announced in this thread along with all the prestige that goes with that.
Total lobby points is declared the winner after the below 6 races are run (roughly 12 minute races). Everyone uses a stock Lotus Exige Cup 240 (no tunes/upgrades allowed).
Practice starts at 7:00 pm EST and the official races start at 7:30 sharp.
Limited damage will be on and the race start will be reverse lobby points all night (most lobby points at back of every race). No cautions. If we start with 10 or more people I "might" lock the room down to invite only in an attempt to prevent room lock ups. Otherwise people could join in late.

Road Atlanta Full – 8 laps
Catalunya Full – 6 laps
Motegi Full – 6 laps
Mugello Full – 6 laps
Silverstone Full – 6 laps

Ooo, this is early enough I "might" be able to make it. Though this week I may be meeting w/ my loan officer...we will see.

Shameless bump and the extravaganza remains a GO. Expecting some of the GT5 guys as well so should have at least 8-10 of us.
Can’t wait to drive these tracks I don’t get to very often as they are all non-GT5 tracks. Giddy up!

Parcells, I don't see you posting a paint up top for this series, what's up wit dat? If you don't show any initiative, how's anyone to follow?
Parcells finds paint jobs do not offer additional speed or aerodynamic advantages and I don't paint.
There are no points for paint jobs and the entire series will last barely two hours.
I present to you this, now, two page thread to initiate tonights extravaganza. If people are too stupid to follow along its just as well they don't join the races.

So even if they add a 'finger painting' option to Forza he's probably still gonna be challenged

I should warn you and Rusty can attest, we expect one of our slow GT5 racers to show up. His GT is RuddyTuesday. It's not that he's slow on the track, its more mentally slow so be careful with your wit.

Congratulations to sWhite, the inaugaral winner of the first and last Lotus cup extravaganza, well done sir (still using illegal fuel I see). Parcells would normally suggest the rest of us are one of many losers but the event was very special so really we're all winners. Don't know if I love the new signature sWhite or if I have grave cocncerns for your state of mind but that is gold Jerry!
Mark would have loved this but he's on a boat where its warm and knowing Dan he had zero assists racing tracks hes never driven all night long. Plus he didn't have a working mic so as enjoyable it was for the rest of us his unfamiliarity with on-line Forza options (ready button/race restarts) the poor bugger came off as mentally slow too. Lets make sure Dan knows I'm trashing him dearly on the 2O4F forums Rusty.
Next event? Hmmm, Parcells could be convinced. Got any ideas?
