You can break it down by playoff seeding, but with the shortened season, most of them (aside from maybe the top seeds) will be toss-ups.
Anyway, I foresee a Thunder vs. Heat finals. Not exactly going out on a limb, but unless the Lakers can get a pg, Durant and company will represent the West.
Well, is Sessions enough to make it a Lakers championship?
Definitely an upgrade over Fisher, although like Fisher, his defense leaves a lot to be desired. I now see either the Thunder or Lakers representing the west (barring any significant injuries of course).
Spurs picking up Jackson for their bench was also a great move. Pop won't allow Jackson to be a headcase in the locker room.
Id say your Thunder v Heat is a pretty decent prediction although it wouldnt surprise me if the Spurs or Bulls got there. Im always rooting for the Magic!
I am also rooting for the underdog Magic! Being in town, I hope to make it to at least one playoff game this year. I think if they can pay attention for longer periods of time, they'll surprise some. They are pretty resilient and always fight to the end and are not out of most games when the bombs drop. They've beaten the top seeds in the east at least a couple of times, and are in 3rd place in the east currently.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Spurs do some damage in the playoffs, they are just playing out the season trying not to get hurt. It was funny that Pop listed Timmy old for his reason for a DNP!
Spurs are definitely looking great lately. I wonder if the Lakers need to send Sessions back to the bench because their bench is terrible now. Thunder v Spurs in WCF.
