This. And the MS certification game takes longer. Which really sucks for the PC players. Dice is holding the PC patch until the Xbox patch is MS certified.

with no snipers getting instant elevators, this will not prevent them - just deter them to getting up in those spots. You could technically parachute in from a spawn beacon or helicopter, however the MAV nerf will be a game changer!
I read that if a MAV does kill you by running into you - then it will die too! I like this and it reminds me of a bee.
Here's a grab from the patch notes having to do with my favorite thing to hate in this world, the MAV. Thank god. And I can deal with a 1-time kill for a MAV, seeing as it wil be destroyed after. Like someone said before, its now like a bee, stings once, then dies.
The MAV will now be destroyed when running into a soldier or vehicle at high speed. It is still possible to strategically sacrifice your MAV on a soldier; it will be destroyed in the process.
The MAV now properly shows up in the Kill Feed. Previously it simply displayed "KILLED."
The MAV can no longer be used as an elevator.
Players will no longer auto enter SOFLAM, MAV, and EOD bots after they are deployed.
Players may now use their knife to destroy enemy equipment.
The part about the knife killing equipment is good for that moment when you empty a clip at an MAV, miss, and it comes in for the kill. The knife can be that last ditch effort to try and save yourself.

The patch includes fixes, tweaks, and updates as well as introducing rentable dedicated servers to the Xbox 360.
