Something about no bubble shield. Pretty sketchy discussion.

DMR being in doesn't mean much to me one way of the other. We don't even yet know how well the BR will work. I imagine the DMR will be tweaked to make it scale in comparison to the BR.

I say wait for more info and then wait again for the game.wink

i would like to see the DMR being better for longer range than the BR, but a slower rate of fire. the BR would still be the more versatile weapon. the DMR would give a better battle against the sniper on the bigger maps. make them both 4 shot. if you land all 12 bullets from the BR, you win the battle by getting your shots off quicker. if you miss, you should still be able to trade kills. at longer ranges, the DMR should win based on the spread of the BR. i think there is plenty of room for both to be useful weapons with diverse advantages and limitations. i don't think one weapon should rule the battlefield or define the game. this would make customized loadouts able to be balanced. if it's done right, everyone could have the ability to start a slayer match with a BR, DMR, AR, or another weapon that could all be used in in the mid range. some could favor short range, some favor long range, and the BR settling right down in the middle. now that i've given my 2 cents, i'll check out the link to see what we're talking about.
