Throwback Bad Company 2: Vietnam night?
Anyone interested in going back and having a Vietnam session?
Yosh and I have been talking about it and think BC2 Is the Battlefield that provided the more enjoyable moments.
Anyone interested? If so then we can set up a night. to at least get a squad together.
I played last night and was in a 7 v 7 server so people are still playing it!
Ugh, wish I didn't trade this in, especialy with post-patch BF3. Vietnam was so much fun. It was hard to find a game though.
It's only $11 bicks at GS and I think a lot of people who aren't happy with BF3 have switched back.
I don't know how long that nostalgia will last but I'm going to take advantage of that as much as I can for sure. It was definitely short lived. I wish it were a standalone downloadable game.

I got out of BC2 before the veitnam DLC. Is it worth coming back for?
People still populate the servers because it's a great game (add on). I played a few times this weekend with at least 6 people on each side in Rush mode so the games were fun and not boring.
If you already have the BC2 disc then I think it's always worth going back to Vietnam every once in a while if you enjoy that type of setting , but if you don't already have it, i'd have to recommend to save the price of the game and the $15 DLC tag and put it towrds something else. It is a 2 year old game after all and who knows when the Vietnam servers will die altogether. But hey, it's your money so go for it if you want to give it a go!!!
