Top notch videos!  Excellent coverage of all that great racing action.  Especially that Monster Energy Ford Falcon.  Damn Sexy Car (and the driver is a handsome devil as well!).  This has been a completely unbiased review of the highlight videos!

Cheers!

I am continually impressed with the camera placement on these replays. Is it manually placed or are these picked from a set placement?

I don't have a ton of experience with the replay system but from what I have seen there are fixed "TV" style placements plus there are "spectator" points where a fan is "filming" the action.  Seahwaks can speak more to it than I could though.

The standard replay camera system lends itself to TV style cameras where it captures te scope of the area around the car you are concentrating on rather then zooming in on the actual car. It makes doing race replays a lot easier and faster. Easier because you don't have cycle through to find the right camera to capture all the action or rewind to set the camera for what what you then try to capture like in Forza. Faster cause of "hot keys" or predefined keyboard keys to get the camera angle instead of cycling through the camera menu like in Forza. That obviously is a benefit of PC gaming voer console, but to be honest there is no reason that Forza couldn't have a dedicated replay manager so that when you entered it you could predifined butons on a controller. Also while rfator DOES have the ability to center on a car only, it's replay system is not defaultly set that way like forza. Forza is all about the car, rfactor is about the racing to put it in layman terms. It's why we can pump out rfactor replays so fast. To give an example. to capture the essence of a 8 lap race in rfactor vs an 8 lap race in forza...it takes about 40% les time in rfactor due to the default cameras. I'm just wrapping up a forza race and i was astonished really at just how hard it was to get what i wanted camera angle wise after being spoiled by the way rfactor handles it..lol

great work by hawks on this one. I also love the fact that we both have two different styles of doing the replays, it gives a great variety of exposure for what we do.
