Atlantic LS - Garage Community Bounty Hunter: Deadline April 17
Congrats to Kraigger, Brntguy, Foot and the rest of the Atlantic LS garage. You're the next Garage Community Bounty Hunter. Woo-hoo!
Please don't choose a drift rivals event. Cause I really want to win the reward car:
Mahvelous!
Pretty too.
I haven't seen a thread for this at FM.net.
Is there a link up somewhere?
And congrats ALS!
Wow someone we know cool, well done guys.
Not sure how the event gets chosen, but it's likely the winners get to choose from one of the monthly rivals events. Since Mugello Cones is the only one used this month, it could be any of the others save for the VIP one.
There's no thread yet on the main FM.net. Won't be one till it goes live. Atlantic may be this week's CBH, or more likely, next week's. Have to wait and see.
If it's hot lapping, we're all doomed! Foot is fast.
I think we should all lobby Kraigger to pick drag rivals. Cause it's quick and we already have psybertech's tune that is easily Top 100.
Nothing worth having comes easy. Bring on the hot lap!
We had a discussion about this and we would like as many people to have a chance at winning the prize car as possible, sooo I don't think Foot is gonna give it his all , but may leave something on the table yet not make it too easy either. We will be monitoring things after his first initial time.
brnt....... so what is the event and when does it start? :)
One of you LS guys needs to contact phREDESIGN or you'll lose your spot.

Was just about to post that.
Let's go lads... get with the program!
I sent a XBL message to the Atlantic LS peeps. Hope someone gets on the case quickly!
phREDESIGN updated his post.
New Bounty thread will hopefully be up soon.
Hopefully that means someone got back to him from Atlantic LS.
Yes--I got a reply from one of the ALS peeps not too long after I sent out the SOS XBL spam messages.
If needed, I am sure someone from D2NR can substitute the time/score in the event.
hehe... JKA... can't wait to see what the event is and who is setting the time.
Big shout out to M3 Rocket for the heads up and we have got things rolling.
The challenge is dictated by Turn 10 so you don't get to pick what challenge you would like to do. So they picked for our driver HLR Foot to do the Forza Tourenwagen Rivals Challenge on Hockenheim. So Foot laid down a generous 1:43.813 to go after, not sure if he will lower it unless people are killing it off the bat, but we want people to win our prize car we built tuned and painted for beating Foots time. There should be a thread on Forza.net any time now with picks and details on the prize car.[url]http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/5344312/ShowThread.aspx#5344312...
Thanx brntguy!
So let's not go "kill" the time right off the bat. Just wait till a day or so before the end, then really kill it! I'm sure Foot won't mind.
Sorry M3, I was so excited how my car turned out...

...that I ran a 1:42.9xx
I wouldn't say I killed it, but I did mame it.
Great. If Foot gets goaded into posting a faster time, I'll have you send me your Z4 prize.
Great driving through traffic, I just love doing that. Ok not really.
I think that's the problem--you're supposed to drive around it. Not through it!
I knew I was doing something wrong, thanks for the heads up.
We figured quite a few people would think that the time is too easy and thats fine we don't care. We want quite a few people to actually win the car and enjoy it, yet not make it so easy that it's not a challenge at all where you can beat it in one lap or first time out. You can't please everyone all the time, but we hope that the prize car is pleasing to all that win it. You know we could of been pricks and let Raceboy run the challenge and less than 10 people would be able to beat his time.
I actually think you guys made a couple of very good decisions considering what has been happening with the Bounty Hunter Challenges as of late. One, to have a moderate time for people to beat. Two, to fix the time to beat right from the beginning.
While setting a really tough challenge seems to be a great idea on the surface, it's fairly destructive in the long run for PR. After all, it's no skin off the garage since T10 is the one gifting the prize. If it's too easy, no one would care. Too hard, and you'll get all kinds of grief and negative vibes--nobody likes a show off. It's walking a tightrope, and I think you guys did well.
Well said M3. Now to try and beat the time
The more people that win the car the more people that will sample your work, and potentially pick up more.
T10 ended up giving out more than 120,000 unicorns for the Rampage KotT! You can give out 10,000 Z4's
