that was some good racing tonight, Shadders didn't like being at the front on Sunset with a pack of hungry Camaroes behind him, soon found my place in mid pack, big sigh of releif. LOL
Swhite come storming through the field to put in a 1.49.00 flat, shooting him up to 2nd spot. The mid field spreads out slightly as people improve there time.
Great Mini vs Camaro racing last night...I was regreting my car choise, but Road Atlanta proved that my regrets were unnecessary!!!
That race was awesome, imagine that for 15-20 laps!!! I left the room too early...I bet the Sunset was awesome too!
EDIT: Slapped my name on tonights practice list, not sure if I´m there in time but anyways...Oh and my voice is starting to come back also :)
Yeah there were some really great battles going on there :)
You really have to work that Camaro to get her moving, it is going to be good fun when it all kicks off. It was good to see that the camaro really can handle the knocks from the mini without too much of a problem :)

LOL - but if you got your Mini knocked by any of those V8 monsters, you almost ended up to upper atmosphere :)
Actually I crashed into Zeratuls Camaro pretty hard @ Road America because of different braking points and it caused some nasty pile of mayhem, sorry about that Z! But in normal racing situation you can lean to those "steel lumps" quite nicely!

It´s a tricky car on a tricky track, you really have to pay attention when you open your throttle @ exiting the turns!
after 4 weeks without racing - due to some real life problems - I started my training for the qualification race. First I bought this BMW, than selected the track Infinion Long and ....... "Grrrr, ooooh, Shit, my god, what the f....., oooo, aaah, shit ........" Some examples from sounds and words, which left my mouth. My wife came and asked me "Darling, are you okay?" My answer:
"NOOOOOOOOOOO, I can't drive that car!!!!!!!"

I think you have to add another group of drivers: .... - Privateers - Club Racers - and than "Men, who should walk instead of driving."
Please let me ask some questions:
1. I can't find videos anymore to look for your racing, for reading some telemetry..... Was there a change in FM4?
2. (Another stupid one) Which Mini is the right one to pick?
3. It is a act of tuning, if I put the air pressure in those BMW tires up / down?
I wish you a great sunday. I have to leave for a .......boring...... family dinner. Grrrrrrrrr.

Hey Jdankert,
I am more than will to help you get your times down - This is what the EUSL was created for, to bring fast and slow drives together so they can learn.
Firstly, the car is tricky, very tricky infact. The only secret with this car is to enter the corners slower and smooth on the power. There is no tuning as the car is forced stock upgrades and tuning :)
To see my replay, navigate to your storefront and press 'y', then see friends storefronts and choose Tourni6. The tunes + replays are all on there.
You will get the times down into the 54's without too much trouble. the rest after that is about hitting the lines right and timing the breaks the throttle to rotate the car, there is a session on at 8 GMT if you are available :)
Sorry I missed you guys last night. I ended up going straight to bed after I got home off work. 12 hour shift on 2 hours of sleep...yeah, wasn't really in the mood to do anything yesterday. Hopefully we'll see you guys later today.
Math is evidently not working for me today. All this time I was thinking qually was 12/12:30 PDT....I just now realized it's actually 2/2:30PDT, so I should be good to make it today.

Organization is evidently not working for you today either...you have the SIM race at that time today Helios

Shit....
Thanks for the reminder. Now to see if there is another qually window or if I'm SOL.
Navigated over to the sign up sheet, do I just stick my nake down for tonight or turn up at the alloted time?
Didnt actually realise how many beers I had consumed until I got up and saw the best part of 6 bottles beside my chair, might explain why I was getting progessively worse as the evening wore on!
I took a stab in the dark which Mustang and went with the 05 without driving it. Then worked up a paint. As usual with my stuff they are not liveries. I just like doing compositions and since I very rarely drive American cars, I could not help myself.
May have made a mistake having now driven both, but will stick with the 05 below.
I am hosting an OFFICIAL qualification event tomorrow at 8:00 + 8:30 + 10:00 + 10:30 GMT
Sign up is to the right of Tourni's
Don't forget you can race join as many Qualification events as you like
Just a heads up guys, got a message from Church Pro this afternoon saying he is working late tonight so he might not be able to make the 8:00 + 8:30 GMT qualifying but will try and get to the 10:00 + 10:30 GMT qualifying.
I feel your pain, just tried Infineon Long with BMW 135i. First lap I was everywhere except on the asphalt. I did eventually get it down to 1:57's, thought that was ok until I saw the timesheet from Saturday. I didnt know what to do, laugh, cry, or go have a drink. Since it is 12:00 noon, of couse I chose the beer. Hopefully I can get back on today to learn where I can gain a few more seconds.

We aren't here to make you feel slow, we are here to help you be faster :) Just ask on places that you are finding it difficult :)
For those struggling with the car one absolute requirement is to feed the power on. Don't simply floor it hoping that there will be enough grip to keep you from spinning... there isn't.
Pretty much everyone improved there time. Sorry for not having comms tonight lads. Little lady ill and my big gob keeps waking her. Bet you enjoyed the rest though
I watched your replay, it help with my braking points and gear selection. I was able to do a couple 1:54 laps, hopefully I can get home from work in time for some qualifying.
I will have to apply some of my Forza skills through supper time traffic to make it.

Qualification Round 1,
Saw Tourni6 take an early lead, putting in a 1.48, raddo closing in on a 1.49.300 closely followed by church and gizzie.
CYber and Ry both new to the car also put in good times. Less than a second seperating the midfield.
Qualification Round 2
Swhite come storming through the field to put in a 1.49.00 flat, shooting him up to 2nd spot. The mid field spreads out slightly as people improve there time.
