I dislike having to play multiplayer to get a better ending in ME3. Going through a second run on insanity to try to get more readiness points to keep certain characters alive. Any advice on how to get 5000 points without playing public multi? I thought about playing offline but the game already knows I have a LIVE connection. TIA
I am not sure how you would get to 5000 points without outside assistance. I felt like I had a pretty string import from ME1 & 2, did all the side missions and ended the game with 7,000 total WITH playing multiplayer to 100%. Without the MP, I would have had a 3500. Bioware was insistent that you could unlock a "perfect" ending w/o multiplayer, but I would like to see thier math on that. If you have an iOS device you can get the free ME Datapad app and that can get you to 100% real easy.
If you have already played through once, see the wiki guide over on IGN to see if there are some tips there, or at least see what you are missing.
Have you tried the MP? There is a group of other folks on a AFOF list (See Mass Effect Forum) and it is much more fun than playing with randoms.
I had a bit over 6000 without any MP. I played both ME 1 and 2 and did all the side missions in ME3. I also did not loose any companions in ME2. I still got the same "Best" ending that others that played MP got. I had planned to do my first playthrough without any MP and my second with MP but since experiencing the ending have not played again.
Super Monday Night Combat......fun MOBA for people who don't like the point and click combat style and enjoy a third person shooter style a little more.
Still playing Kingdoms of Amalur ... Took a break from Main story to play Dead Kel .... Haven't really got into it yet as I saved and quit once I got past the teaser portion when starting it ...

Kameo with the kids.
Crackdown 2 co-op with a buddy.
And Two Worlds.
well Im playing The Witcher 2 and some ME3
witcher two is brutal.....don't know if i love it or hate it...
on the 360 it has it brutal spot but ones you get the hang of it its not so bad
what Im love about it, it dose not hold your hand
I stop counting how many times I played the first one on the PC
The difficulty curve for the first Witcher was tough. I had heard the PC patches (and hopefully the 360 release) had lowered that.
Kingdoms of Amalur. Can't get enough of it. I have yet to leave that first area as there is tons to do. 21 hours and counting.....
